For taking your time to study remain blessed. PRAY FOR MINISTERS OF THE GOSPEL MONDAY JANUARY 16 TEXT: 1TIMOTHY 2: 1-4 Key verse: “Moreover as for me, God forbid that I should sin against the LORD in ceasing to pray for you: but I will teach you the good and the right way” 1 Samuel 12:23. Ministers need to be prayed for according to the will of God. Pray for your leaders that God may give them sufficient grace and wisdom for their work. Satan exerts great force against them to cause them to sin, go into error, compromise and backsliding to the hurt of those they lead. Pray for their continual victory and success in leadership. Hebrews 13:17-18 Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you. Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly. Leaders are men like you that can be frightened, discouraged, or fail. When they perform well they want to be assessed and to know whether others recognize and appreciate their labour, hence commend them. They can be sick, poor, bereaved, or attacked. Hence comfort, protect and provide for them. Love them. Give them good counsel. Give them good Christian materials. Give them material gifts. Let them be paid well to encourage them in the work. To support the ministry of an ungodly and backslider leader is to partake in his evil deeds and suffer the same Divine judgment. To support them is to promote their evil deeds against God and men. You and your resources belong to God and are to support His true course and faithful ministers. Do not strengthen the hand of Satan and his evil men against God and humanity. Know that God will use other Christian leaders to bless you. The leader of the church is God himself, He calls men to work with Him in the work of saving men from sin, nourishing them, preserving them in righteousness and holiness and preparing them for eternal life through the word of God. He gives ministerial calling and spiritual gifts to men for this purpose. You can only submit the spiritual care of your precious soul to a leader who is a true disciple of Christ and not a wolf in sheep's clothing. Thought for the day: Be led by the Lord so as not to support a backslider or an ungodly minister. Song for the day: Holy Spirit, move me now, make my life whole again…. Bible reading for the day: Genesis 38-40; Matthew 12:22-50 #horemow.

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
