Do Not Reject A Marriage Suitor Because Of Pride

Sunday 17th May

Text: Genesis 2:18, 21-24
Key Verse: Ecclesiastes 3:1” To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.”
When people come to you for marriage, as a lady, do not bring up pride to reject them at that time. Similarly, as a man, it is time for you to marry, but you do not bother. It might be too late in your life. You may not find one again. You may become, what we call, “Belgium, fairly-used or Tokumbo.” Because at the time you were attractive, at the time you were smelling marriage, people wanted to marry you, but you spent time in pride. Not that the Lord did not tell you to accept, or not to accept, but you were even sure that this man was led by God, but you intentionally rejected him. There was a story of a young man whom Jesus came to and said, “Because of the ministry I have given to you, I do not want you to marry anyhow. Now that I have visited you, I will leave you. When I leave, the woman I want you to marry will come in. That is the woman I want you to marry.” This is a practical reality and truth. As Jesus left, two sisters came in to visit him. One is the woman the Lord wanted him to marry. He knew her but said nothing to that woman. A time came; the woman knew that God was leading her to this young man. In fact, she waited and waited, but the young man was not talking. She even came to the young man and said, “Somebody else is trying to marry me, but I am not feeling led to that person.” She said this just to know whether this person would stand up and do something, but PRIDE did not allow him to act accordingly. And eventually, he missed that woman.
Where will you find a successful ministry? You missed the person God wanted you to marry because of your stubbornness. So, there is time to marry, and you should know and make a move. Do not say there is no money. If you mean business, you will get the money. God will give you the money. God will cause human beings to give you the money. God will open opportunities for you to make money.

Thought For The Day: Avoid pride in marriage choice, marry at the right time.

For taking your time to study remain blessed. UNDERSTANDING ETERNITY WEDNESDAY MAY 10 TEXT: Psalm 90: 1 - 2 Key Verse: “The Lord is King forever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land Psalm 10:16 People that understand eternity are always careful. Eternity means forever and ever, it means ever-lasting, ever-living, never dying. Trillion upon trillion years, eternity is still on, in fact it is life without end. There are two extreme ends of eternity: The kingdom of God called third heaven where God the Father, God the son, God the Holy Ghost, twenty-four elders, saints of God that make heaven, holy angels of God, and entire host of heaven dwell now presently; Hell-fire, where Satan, demons, and sinners that have died in their sins are presently kept. God is the One that introduced eternity. He lives forever. It is not a choice, the One who created us is forever, hence you will live forever, but what matters is where you will live eternally. Remove God from the way, then t...

Pastor Paul Rika’s Burden, Vision and Action To Reach the Unreached (2)

God's blessings will continually accompany you for dedicating time to your studies. Pastor Paul Rika’s Burden, Vision and Action To Reach the Unreached (2) Wednesday 15th October TEXT: Titus 3: 3-6   Key verse: Titus 3: 6 “Which He shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior.” I remember I was in Sao Tome and Principe as a deeper life national overseer and I was writing the book, “Divine Revelation of God’s Holiness and Judgment.” The vision the Lord gave to Michael Sambo. I was translating it into a book, with the scriptural backups to make it a sound evangelistic book. I saw that truly the world is doomed. What will I say about those who have not known Jesus among the 7 billion people on earth; those who do not even have anything to do with Him? Do I speak of the billions in Asia without understanding of Jesus? Out of the 1.4 billion in India, they are struggling to record 150 million Christians including Catholics.  Who knows Jesus then? Even among Pentecosta...
