PREPARATION TO FACE END-TIME CHALLENGES

God's blessings shall follow you for taking the time to study.

TOPIC: PREPARATION TO FACE END-TIME CHALLENGES

TEXT: MATTHEW 24:3-13

FRIDAY NOVEMBER 10TH

Key verse: 1 Timothy 4:1 “Now the spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils.”
The end time signifies the end of the world, which began in the time of the apostles and is now in our generation. The end time is characterized with a high level of wickedness that if a child of God is not prepared it will be difficult to face the evil devices of the devil.  There is increase in iniquities, almost everywhere is polluted by the devil. Death is also on the increase; sinners are dropping rapidly into hell and the devil likes it so. Hell has enlarged itself to receive more death. Various fashions of nakedness are being introduced into the world and people are following it.
Witchcraft has become a norm in the society and Satan has sent his agents, including children and their teachers everywhere to initiate children in schools and churches. Children are rebellious against their parents and the worship of God has no regard for them. The media and the government are giving strong backing to Satan’s policies to corrupt the system. The people are now liars, they lie even to the Holy Ghost. In the church, the ministers tell testimonies of lies to impress and keep members. Pride has taken over the thought of man and the good man has no place again in the society. The scripture says the whole world lieth in wickedness.
The implication of increased iniquities in our day is that the way to heaven is narrow and it is now difficult to practice righteousness. It means that a believer must need extra oil to stand against the will of the devil. He must increase his prayer tempo to resist the faring darts of the devil. He must get hold of the word of God by constantly reading his bible where he draws strength and wisdom to live in this immoral and corrupt society. It means that a believer must acquaint himself with the fellowship of holy brethren such as the holiness movement so that together they can subdue the devil and his agents.

Thought for the day: Extra oil is required to keep you above Satan’s devices today.

Song for the day: Give me oil in my life to keep me burning

Bible reading for the day: Lamentations 1-2; Hebrews 7

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
