JESUS WANTS TO PURGE AND SANCTIFY HIS CHURCH
TEXT: John 3: 25-30
Key verse: John 3: 27 John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven.

Jesus did not want His gospel to be abused, that is why He said, “Father sanctify them. I am not physically with them in the world. If I were in the world, some of them will look at Me and hide, but I am not there for righteousness to flow freely.” That is what we desire of you brethren, among the Coordinators, Chapter leaders, Pastors and Teachers, Choir, Ushers, that you will be sanctified.
If you are removed from the work, you will not have grudges against people. Your mind will be peaceful. Believe that God removed you for a reason, maybe God even showed the reason, you have no problem. This sinful nature is abusing the commission of holiness that God has given to us, to live in and preach. Our profession of holiness must be accompanied by transparent life of holiness and righteousness.

Due to this Adamic and carnal nature, people are withdrawing from God and His service. The Adamic nature and inward pollution and corruption need to be purged. Go back to God and say, “Lord I was sharpened in iniquity and sin did my mother conceive me. I have a body of sin. Purge me with hyssop, wash me and I will be whiter than snow. I want to be holy.

From today's reading text, John the Baptist escaped provocation of envy over the ministry of Jesus. People told him, “Do you know the other man you bore record of is baptizing more people than you?” They wanted to make John envious but he said, “He shall increase but I will decrease”. It takes sanctification of heart to say this. This is Holiness. When Jesus came to the world, did He manifest any sin in his life? He wants you to be like that. He does not want you to interfere with the Holy Spirit.

Thought for the day: As the sinner comes to Jesus for forgiveness, so the believer should also come back to Him for sanctification.
Song for the day: Create in me a clean heart O Lord, and renew a right spirit….
Bible reading for the day:  Isaiah 65-66; 2 Thessalonians 1

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

The local church should teach and train her members on scriptural fasting. Believers need to know that the Lord expects...

UNDERSTANDING ETERNITY WEDNESDAY MAY 10 TEXT: Psalm 90: 1 - 2 Key Verse: “The Lord is King forever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land Psalm 10:16 People that understand eternity are always careful. Eternity means forever and ever, it means ever-lasting, ever-living, never dying. Trillion upon trillion years, eternity is still on, in fact it is life without end. There are two extreme ends of eternity: The kingdom of God called third heaven where God the Father, God the son, God the Holy Ghost, twenty-four elders, saints of God that make heaven, holy angels of God, and entire host of heaven dwell now presently; Hell-fire, where Satan, demons, and sinners that have died in their sins are presently kept. God is the One that introduced eternity. He lives forever. It is not a choice, the One who created us is forever, hence you will live forever, but what matters is where you will live eternally. Remove God from the way, then t...
