BELIEVER'S VICTORY IN CHRIST
TEXT: Luke 10:17-20
Key verse: Luke 10:18 And He said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from
heaven.
Every believer can enjoy constant victory over the powers of darkness and even minister to others also. Believers' hope is based on the power of the indwelling Christ, power in the blood of Christ, power in the Name of Christ, power of the written word of God, power of the abiding presence of Christ, faith in the promises of God, power of prevailing prayer, putting on the whole armour of God, and depending on the power of the Holy Spirit.

Luke 10:17-20
17 And the seventy returned with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.
18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.
19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and overall the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
20 Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.

The devils were subject to the Disciples of Christ not just because of the power Christ gave them but also because their names were written in the book of life. From here and from the life and ministry of Christ, it could be established that to overcome the powers of darkness, one has to: (1) be very sure he is born again (2) living a clean and holy life before God and men.
Once these are in place, you only need to apply the A, B, C, principles:
A. Appropriate all the biblical promises to yourself.
B. Believe in the presence and power of God to deliver and defend you.
C. Claim your victory in Christ.

Thought for the day: When they come in one way, they will flee in seven ways!
Song for the day: We are victorious, yes we are victorious, glory be to God…
Bible reading for the day: Jeremiah 23-24; 2 Timothy 2

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
