KILL FORNICATION COMPLETELY IN YOUR LIFE

For taking your time to study remain blessed.

DATE: THURSDAY 14th  OCTOBER

TOPIC: KILL FORNICATION COMPLETELY IN YOUR LIFE

TEXT: Matthew 5: 27-30

Key verse: 1 Thessalonians 4:3 For this is the will of God, even your sanctification,
that ye should abstain from fornication:

Let no part of your body move to fornication. Kill it! Put uncleanness to death. Cancel it in your life. No corrupt character, no way in your life, no way are you going to be unclean. Destroy inordinate, unnatural affection and lustful eyes.

You see a sister, you will look at her. Oh this sister, she is beautiful, I just like seeing her. You are attracted to her. It is unnatural. You want always to see her, to come closer. You are preparing for immorality. You have already committed it in the heart.

Therefore, keep off from such unnatural love, getting easily infatuated with people, getting easily fascinated with people. Avoid inordinate affection and unnatural affection and lustful eyes, seeing people and always saying they are good. Remove it from your eyes.

Again, reject evil concupiscence or evil bodily desire. Reject all these desires that are moving round you. Deny them! When you stand before a man or woman, and there are some thoughts that want to move from you, resist them, reject and cast them out, bind them, hold them captive to the obedience of Christ.

You just pick a lady and say without her, I won't know another one. You are preparing to leave the church. “It must be this man. If the church says no, we will go and wed in another place”. You have made an idol out of that person, and God becomes smaller than that person before you! So, who can control you again?

If our God has become smaller, is it we who are under our God. You have made an idol out of somebody and when you make an idol out of the person who wants to marry you, what can you not give him? You will give him your body because you want to grab him and make sure you don't lose him.

Avoid covetousness. The Bible is warning us against evil but you must take steps of victory. If anything, anyone, any business, the first fire of immorality has started and you see from that business whatever you are gaining from it, run away from that man whatever is the contribution of that man.

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
