TOPIC: WHAT KIND OF HEART DO YOU HAVE?

TEXT: Mark 7:14-23

KEY VERSE: Job 14:4 Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? not one.

The heart is the main thing that produces the issues of life. Jesus says from the heart proceeds good things – good thoughts, good words and good works. Also, from the heart proceeds evil things such as evil thoughts, evil words and evil works. But whatever the heart produces is in your hands thereby making you responsible for a heart that does evil, a heart that speaks evil, a heart that produces evil. You are responsible because there is something you should have done with that heart which you failed to do. That is why you need to know the kind of heart you have so that you can do something about it. What kind of heart do you have? Is it one that produces good works or one from which proceeds evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride or foolishness? Being called a Christian does not determine who you are. There are many in the church with evil heart. It is your heart that describes who you are in the sight of God, not your activities in the church. Judas was one of Jesus’ disciples who went about with him everywhere proclaiming the gospel message and performing miracles, signs and wonders, yet events later proved that he had an evil heart. He joined forces with the enemies of God to get Jesus arrested and crucified. His heart revealed him as a traitor.

You need to have understanding about this matter and do something about your heart so that it may begin to bear good fruits unto eternal life. If you are diligent, determined and purposeful about it, you can get your heart changed from evil to good. What kind of heart do you have? May the Lord give you understanding of this message. Our God is always telling us new things. I pray that He will open your eyes to see deep things that will influence your life for good; things that will deliver you from evil. Bible says we shall know the truth and the truth shall make us free. I pray that the Lord will grant you the knowledge of this truth about the condition of your heart and what to do about it.  May the Lord grant you the freedom of the victory that follows this truth in Jesus Name. Amen.

Thought for the day: You can rule over your heart to live for God.

Song for the day: Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable……

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
