TOPIC: TITHE DEFAULTERS ARE ROBBERS OF GOD!

TEXT: Malachi 3:7-11
7 Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the Lord of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?
8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.
9 Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.
10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
11 And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the Lord of hosts.

KEY VERSE: Malachi 3:8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed Me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed Thee? In tithes and offerings.

Many people do not understand why God says those who do not pay their tithe and do not give Him offering are robbers. Yes, these are robbers because they deny men, women and children the privilege of hearing the gospel of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ; hence, they rob God of His glory among men. In fact, they are more than just being robbers!

i. They are wicked: because they do not pity their fellow men on their way to destruction. They have no passion for soul. They value money above the soul of man. They do not realize that nothing can be given in exchange for the soul of man.
ii. They are selfish: because they think only about themselves and care not for other people around them.
iii. They are rebellious:  because God gave them money and material possessions so that they would give back to Him for His glory, but they turn these things to their glory and reject the glory of God.
iv. They are ungrateful: because they refuse to express praise and gratitude to God with the money and material possessions He has given them.
v. They are unreasonable:  because they do not realize that they are strangers in this world who brought nothing into it and will take nothing out of it when they die.
vi. They are useless: because God cannot put their money and material possessions into honorable use for the glory of His Name.
vii. They are wretched: because they have no eternal investment in the kingdom of God. Revelation 3:17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

Therefore, God has cursed them with a curse! The God who placed a curse on Cain has placed a curse upon them, for refusing to honour Him and promote His course and glory on earth through the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Thought for the day: It is bad enough to be a robber of man, how much more robbing God in tithe.

Song for the day: I am ready to obey Thy word, I am ready to obey…..

Bible reading for the day: Exodus 37-38; Matthew 23:23-39 #Horemow

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
