Why The Church Becomes Corrupt

Text: Proverbs 22: 17-21 

Key verse: Proverbs 19: 18 Chasten thy son while there is hope, and let not thy soul spare for his crying. 
Why did the church become corrupt? The ministers failed to discipline the evil ones who erred and disobeyed. They followed American or European rule that says, “Do not beat your child” and spoilt the congregation. Their members dress anyhow and nobody talks, nobody says anything. Do anything you want to do and come sit down and serve God. Play the drum, sing your song and go. Nobody will say anything. He that spareth the rod spoileth his own child and hates his church members. If you do not discipline, correct or chastise the members of the church, you hate them and you will not go to heaven because you do not want them to have a good future. 
Your ministry does not have love that is why you act like that. He that does not love his brother abides in darkness; he is a murderer. You are killing those people, you are responsible for their backsliding, and you are sending them to hell. This is because you do not chastise, rebuking or correct them. They dress badly and you do not talk to them but say, “Let the word of God correct them.” The word of God says you should correct them. Are you pushing the matter back to God? Are you not rude and stubborn? As a good minister, correct, rebuke and chastise them. 
Chasten and correct the brethren in the church. Do not spare them because you think if you discipline them, they will go away. What do you mean? If he is of God, he will remain. If he goes away, then he is not of God. The correction of the Lord is in righteousness and not in wickedness. Rebuke and correct all those women in sinful dresses. Some think that if you tell women to dress well and rebuke them of worldly attires, the women will go away. Look at the women in Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide, have they gone away? No! Then what of these ministers, who say if they tell women to dress decently; not to put on jewelry and trousers, to stop attachment, they will go away?” Chasten thy son and don't spare for his crying, murmuring or hating you. Do not spare, correct the church, rebuke the people.
