A Call For God's Divine Presence

Monday 15th September

Text: Isaiah 57: 15 - 18
Key verse: Psalms 101 verse 2: “I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way, O when wilt thou come unto me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.”
This is a call for God's divine presence, help and support in ministry. David needs wisdom and perfection to win the presence of God in his ministry. God is holy, who will sit with Him on high? Those that are of a contrite spirit, of a humble heart, of a holy heart and of righteousness. Such will be with God, the eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous. David wanted God to be with him; and if God must be with him, wisdom and perfection is required. He must be wise so that he can be perfect; then he will gain the presence of God. Otherwise, you will be carrying out Christian leadership as a man running a chemist; or you will be running the Christian ministry like a vulcanizer that pumps the tyres of vehicles on the road side lives by it.
God is with you as much as He is with the groundnut seller because the groundnut seller is trading and feeding people created by God and is making profit. You too are gathering people and reading the Bible to them to help some of them, and that is all. It is not that God has recognized you because there is no commitment in your life; there is no truth or righteousness in your ministry and service since the presence of God is not with you. In the Christian ministry, the principles you are adopting are lies and falsehood. Your foundation is out of course. You cannot expect the God of truth and justice to be with you in the ministry.
Does God justify liars? If you want the presence of God, it is by Righteousness and Holiness and you need wisdom as you deal in leadership over the people of God, in the service of God. You need wisdom even in family leadership. You need wisdom to be perfect. The psalmist sees God also as the supplier of these virtues. “Oh God, I fix my heart on wisdom and perfection. Manifest them in my life, fill me with them, I need these in my life.” The leader of God's people does not know when the Lord will come or when he will die and so must be wise and perfect as to be ready at all times to meet the Lord, either by death or by rapture. You do not know when God will come or when you will die.

Thought for the day: You need wisdom to be perfect.

Every Word Of God For Daily Living For taking your time to study remain blessed July Tuesday 9th TOPIC: WE ARE IN THE TWILIGHT HOUR OF RAPTURE TEXT: Ephesians 5:26-27 KEY VERSE: Hebrews 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. Seeing the traces of the features of the next dispensation in this present dispensation, you should know that you are in the twilight hour. What is a twilight hour? A twilight hour is that hour of the day that you begin to see the traces of the night while it is still daylight (probably 7:00pm to 7:30pm). It is not completely dark, yet it is not complete bright either. While it is still day, you are seeing the traces of the night. A twilight hour is the hour when you are still in this dispensation but you are already seeing traces of the next. The twilight hour is the time that our Lord Jesus Christ was born and even though He came with the New Test...
