Clarity Of Communication

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study.

Clarity Of Communication

Tuesday 2nd September

Text: 1 Corinthians 14: 7-11
Key verse: 1 Corinthians 14: 40 Let all things be done decently and in order.
Attention must be given to clarity of communication in the worship assembly. The worshippers should be able to hear what is being said clearly. Except the words spoken are clearly heard, they are of no benefit and have no effect on the worshippers. The preacher, teacher or communicator must speak in understandable language and with clear voice. His speech must not be too fast. The grammar used must not be above the capacity of the audience. His pronunciation must not be blurred. In an assembly where not all in the congregation are well educated, he must select his words to ensure he is simple enough for people to understand him.
Some preachers preach to entertain themselves, not minding whether the audience understands them or not. They speak slangs that only they and a few people understand. Such have not the heart of ministry. Make effort to communicate in the way your audience will understand you. Leaders must make provision for those who do not understand the language in use. Adequate provision should be made for interpretation to various languages present in the service. Wisdom is profitable to direct. The gospel is both for the educated and the illiterates, the blind and the deaf. Jesus died for all and the gospel is for all. The preacher is sent to both the wise and unwise, the educated and the illiterate. He is a debtor to all. All must be given the privilege to hear the gospel for the salvation of their souls, Romans 1:14, 15.
Gospel singers should ensure that the words of their songs are clear and understandable. What ministers life to the hearers are the words of the songs and not the melody or the rhythm of the instruments. The local assembly should procure a good public address system to make all in the worship service hear and understand the message clearly. The public address system should be able to convey the message clearly to the worshippers in all parts of the hall of meeting and to those sitting outside the meeting hall. Good public address system is required to achieve good results. The leadership of the church needs to give priority to this. Efficient and effective workers should be appointed to man this aspect.

Thought for the day: Good public address system is required to achieve good results.

Song for the day: Your name is a Way-maker

Bible reading for the day: Ezekiel 28-30

For taking your time to study remain blessed. UNDERSTANDING ETERNITY WEDNESDAY MAY 10 TEXT: Psalm 90: 1 - 2 Key Verse: “The Lord is King forever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land Psalm 10:16 People that understand eternity are always careful. Eternity means forever and ever, it means ever-lasting, ever-living, never dying. Trillion upon trillion years, eternity is still on, in fact it is life without end. There are two extreme ends of eternity: The kingdom of God called third heaven where God the Father, God the son, God the Holy Ghost, twenty-four elders, saints of God that make heaven, holy angels of God, and entire host of heaven dwell now presently; Hell-fire, where Satan, demons, and sinners that have died in their sins are presently kept. God is the One that introduced eternity. He lives forever. It is not a choice, the One who created us is forever, hence you will live forever, but what matters is where you will live eternally. Remove God from the way, then t...

Pastor Paul Rika’s Burden, Vision and Action To Reach the Unreached (2)

God's blessings will continually accompany you for dedicating time to your studies. Pastor Paul Rika’s Burden, Vision and Action To Reach the Unreached (2) Wednesday 15th October TEXT: Titus 3: 3-6   Key verse: Titus 3: 6 “Which He shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior.” I remember I was in Sao Tome and Principe as a deeper life national overseer and I was writing the book, “Divine Revelation of God’s Holiness and Judgment.” The vision the Lord gave to Michael Sambo. I was translating it into a book, with the scriptural backups to make it a sound evangelistic book. I saw that truly the world is doomed. What will I say about those who have not known Jesus among the 7 billion people on earth; those who do not even have anything to do with Him? Do I speak of the billions in Asia without understanding of Jesus? Out of the 1.4 billion in India, they are struggling to record 150 million Christians including Catholics.  Who knows Jesus then? Even among Pentecosta...
