WE ARE SAVED TO SERVE

God bless you for taking your time to study.

TOPIC: WE ARE SAVED TO SERVE

WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 14th

TEXT: EPHESIANS 6:10-18

Key verse: Exodus 23: 25:  And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.
We are saved to serve. As the angels serve God in heaven, even so, are we to serve Him here on earth? In the Lord’s Prayer, Jesus said, Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Matthew 6:10. Every creature of God does His service which is acceptable unto God both now and in the future. There are various types of Christian service. There are degrees of grace for Christian service. You are to determine your effectiveness and progress in the Christian service. The choice concerning how much of your time you will give to God is yours. He will not give you; although there is so much to be done. If you use 24 hours to do the work of God, there will still be much to do.
You are the one to determine how many hours to put into God’s service in a day. If you want to offer nothing at all to God in the day the choice is yours to make. How much time you put into God’s service can only be determined by you, as the rewards will only come to you at the end of your journey on earth. Can you spend up to one hour a day out of the 24 hours of the day? The choice is yours to make. Will you be as committed to giving up your full time for God? Whatever it is you are to determine it.
Rom 12:9-11 9 Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. 10 Be the kindly affectionate one to another with brotherly love; in honor preferring one another; 11 Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;
The knowledge has been given to you, the revelation has been given to you and the exhortation has also been given to you. The Lord now watches to see what you will do with yourself. If you succeed in getting to heaven, you will see that as a man makes his bed so shall he lie on it.
Thought for the day: Faithful servants will be rewarded

Song of the day: Until I reach my home l will never stop my journey halfway…

Bible reading for the day:

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
