PURITY, A LIFE WITHOUT BLEMISH

God bless you for taking your time to study.

TOPIC: PURITY, A LIFE WITHOUT BLEMISH.

TEXT: 1 THESSALONIANS 5:21 – 24

MONDAY SEPTEMBER 5th

Key verse: 1 John 3:3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as He is pure.
Purity means a state of being free from defilement. It is a life that pleases the Lord. Purity of heart enables one’s thoughts and desires to be pure according to God’s standards. Purity makes you careful, watching over yourself so that you will never allow sin in your life. Have you seen a pussy cat? When the pussy cat runs from here to there, it will stop and lick out the dust from its body. It checks its body to ensure no dirt is there. If you have a passion for purity you must check up on yourself now and then to ensure no blemish or sin is in you. Examine yourself daily.
Purity and your eyes - As you walk on the street and see the nakedness on the street; you shouldn’t give it a second look or thought. Your eyes should be regulated; be determined not to sin with your eyes. “I made a covenant with mine eyes; why then should I think upon a maid?  Job 31:1. Your eyes must never watch pornography! They must never watch worldly entertainments. No, they cannot feast on evils on the television and internet.
Purity and the tongue - Control your speech and your tongue. Take care of what you say. “My lips shall not speak wickedness, nor my tongue utter deceit. Job 27:4. There must be purity in your tongue if you want to make heaven. Your tongue must be free from defilements.
Purity and the ears - Take care of what you hear. Be careful because that which you hear can provoke you to wrong action. Therefore, check the report well. Check who gives that report. Are the reports true or false?
Purity in the world: You must be careful so that the activities of the world do not overcome you. Watch over your life when it comes to money. Do not lust after the beauties of the world.  Beauty is vanity. Don't set your heart there. May the God of holiness keep you blameless and pure.

Thought for the day: Only the pure in heart shall see the Lord.

Song for the day: Brethren, the road is very narrow, very narrow….

Bible reading for the day:
Proverbs 7-8; 1 Corinthians 14:21-40

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
