A NEWCOMER’S TESTIMONY OF A DIVINE ENCOUNTER (1)

TEXT: PSALM 33: 1-8

THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 15th

KEY VERSE: Psalm 32:8 I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.
Presented here is the testimony of Evangelist Obiageli from Ekwulobia chapter, Anambra State: “Before coming to HOREMOW, a sister had told me about the Movement and was following me up. Later, she brought her pastor to me and both of them were on my neck. I kept on promising and failing them. One day the pastor invited me to Believers Unity Conference, organized by HOREMOW for the South East States in Onitsha. I promised to attend so that they would leave me alone. I had planned not to stay till the end but when I saw what was going on and heard the messages, I realized that I have found what I had been seeking for a long time. I made up my mind to stay till the end of the program. I responded to the altar call and also took part in water baptism.
During the conference, my sister’s child died which could have been an excuse but when they called for me, I told them that I was engaged because of what I was receiving. After the conference, I went straight to comfort my sister. After comforting them, I told them where I went and what I experienced; that I am now a new man. I showed them my physical evidence of the cloth I used to do water baptism. I shared some of the messages I heard with them. After our discussion, I slept from around 8 pm till 6 am the next morning.
As I slept, I saw myself again at that conference. It was so real that I thought the conference was going on. I saw that all that happened there was recorded, assessed, and rewarded for everybody that did one thing or the other at the conference; the people that sold books, those in the canteen, those that prepared zobo and kunu, those that sold fruits, those that sold tapes and tracts, those that went to the market to buy food items, those that cooked the food, those that killed a cow, even those that served food and those that washed plates. Everything was well assessed and rewarded according to their labor. (To be continued)

Thought for the day: A day in God’s house is better than a thousand elsewhere.

Song for the day: I was glad when they said, let us go to the house of the Lord.

Bible reading for the day:
Proverbs 28-29; 2 Corinthians 7
#Horemow.

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
