God bless you for taking your time to study.

HOLY GHOST BAPTISM

SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 11th

TEXT: ACTS 1:4 – 5

Key Verse: But ye shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost comes upon you and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and Samaria and unto the uttermost part of the earth. Acts 1:8
Baptism of the Holy Ghost is the imparting of the power of the Holy Spirit in a baptismal measure upon a believer in Christ. The experience imparts on the believer power for effective Christian service. Speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives utterance is the initial outward sign accompanying the baptism in the Holy Spirit. Act 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost and began to speak with other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Act 10:44-46 While Peter yet spoke these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word. And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished as many as came with Peter because that on the Gentiles also was powered out the gift of the Holy Ghost. For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,
Another result of the baptism in the Holy Ghost is the manifestation of various gifts of the Spirit. The gifts of the Holy Spirit are valid today.
I Corinthians 12: 7 – 11. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal, for to one is given by the spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same spirit; to another faith by the same spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same spirit to another working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kind of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues; but all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.
However, baptism with the Holy Ghost is not a requirement for entering heaven. What qualifies for heaven is holiness.

Thought for the day: Holy Ghost Baptism is the impartation of his power.

Song for the day: The power, the power the Pentecost power…

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
