STEADFASTNESS OF A DETERMINED SOUL
TEXT:  Ruth 1: 15-19
Key verse:  Ruth 1:16 And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return
from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest,
I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God:

The Bible tells us that Orpah went back to her gods! What kind of husband can her gods give her? 'Your sister in law has gone back unto her people and to her gods. Return thou after thy sister in law. To your people and your god.' Ruth said, “Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee....” This is a lady whose eyes have opened. This is a lady that said, I have exchanged my people for your people. I have exchanged my God for your God. I have accepted Him. I believe in Him. You have shown God in your life.
I will never leave you. Your people are the people of Promise. God made a covenant with Abraham over your people. I have come across someone that will take me among these people. Nothing but death will separate between me and you. Where you lodge I will be there, in fact, I am going to serve you in that place. Yes, where you will die and be buried. I will die after you and be buried there. May the Almighty Creator do evil to my life if I don't keep to the promise I have made.
Dear friend, did God show you kindness? Did God give salvation? Did God give you deliverance? Did God show His goodness to you? Why have you not promised to serve Him? Why have you not spoken like Ruth? This God shall be my God, forever and ever. He will be my guide from now even to the end. Why don't you make that promise? Why are you trying to be careless? Oh, the people didn't treat me well, if you see the way the people treated me I don't like those people. Was Ruth treated well? Naomi was rather pushing her to go back? Was it Naomi or God who was testing Ruth? Ruth passed God's test.

Thought for the day: For this God is my God forever and ever.
Song for the day: For this God is my God, Forever and ever, He will be….
Bible reading for the day:  Lamentations 3-5; Hebrews 8

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. January Saturday 18th TOPIC: HOW TO ATTAIN BIBLE HOLINESS TEXT: Romans 6:20-23 KEY VERSE: Romans 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. Besides the essential knowledge of the holy life of a Christian, it is good to understand the manner and process of becoming holy before God. Holiness of life is a life that has overcome sin through the saving power of Jesus Christ. Romans 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. It is a life that does not commit sin. 1John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for His seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. Getting this experience requires four things: 1. Know that apart from holiness, there is no alternative lifestyle for heaven. Hebrews 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holin...
