WE SHALL BE LIKE HIM

FOR. TAKING YOUR TIME TO STUDY THE WORD OF GOD REMAIN BLESSED.

TOPIC: WE SHALL BE LIKE HIM

DATE: MONDAY JUNE 21

TEXT: 1 JOHN 3:1-9

Key verse: 1 John 3:3 “And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.”

As the saints shall be resurrecting from the grave they shall be coming out with new bodies, because when one dies, the body that decays is going to transform to another body. For instance, when you plant corn in the ground, it dies before the new body comes up.

The new body that comes up looks different from the seed that was planted and does not look alike with it. This is because it will become a new thing altogether. In this case, the Lord God almighty determines the body to give new corn. You sow corn as a grain but when it germinates and grows up, you can see a different crop altogether.

The new crop looks many times bigger than the grain and is even more beautiful. This is a surprise because a grain that one can easily step on could be transformed into a wonderful plant to be admired. After it is planted, it germinates and grows even taller than the farmer that planted it.

If God can give such glorious bodies to mere grains, how much more glorious will be the bodies of resurrected saints? Their bodies will not be ugly. You might have been told that you are ugly but don’t bother about that. You shall wear a glorious body after the resurrection.

The least of the saints that have died and entered heaven is very marvellous in their glorious bodies. If one of them is sent to the earth now as they are in heaven, even now that they are yet to be glorified with their resurrection body, but because of the glory they carry, you will think this is God himself.

We shall see Him as He is. We shall be like Him. Those who have died will take new bodies at their resurrection. Then we who are alive will be waiting for them to rise first. After they have risen and are going to heaven, then a sudden miracle will take place.

By the power of the Holy Spirit that is in you. God who is the quickening Spirit will quicken your body and you will be suddenly transformed as a sort of metamorphosis. You will be suddenly transformed into a glorious body, and you will be lifted to the sky by the Spirit.

Thought for the day: The dead in Christ shall rise first.

Song for the day: On the resurrection morning, remember me O Lord….

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
