LOVE GOD AND YOUR NEIGHBOR

FOR TAKING YOUR TIME TO STUDY THE WORD OF GOD REMAIN BLESSED.

LOVE GOD AND YOUR NEIGHBOR

JUNE Thursday10th
TEXT: JOSHUA 4: 7-13
Key Verse: “Hereby we perceive we the love of God because He lay down his life for us; we ought to lay our lives for our brethren” 1 John 3: 16
Beloved, God is Love. He gave His only begotten Son to die on the cross of Calvary for the salvation of mankind. The bible says while we are yet sinners. Jesus died for us. This shows that God’s love is unconditional, perfect love and Agape Love. There are different kinds of love in the world today. The love we have for somebody because he is one of our family members, relation and friend is good but is not perfect love. The love that fornicators have for the opposite sex in the name of a boyfriend and girlfriend is the carnal love or lust of the flesh. The love you have for somebody because he is kind and good to you is good but is not a perfect love, because it has traits of selfishness. The perfect love is sacrificial, unmerited and unconditional.
1 Corinthians 13: 4 – 7.  Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;  Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
To live a life of Christ we are commanded to love God and our fellow men. Love God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength. Do not have a divided mind in the things of God; in prayer, meditation, reading His word, evangelism and Christian service. You cannot love God while still living in sin, you must be born again and your heart circumcised. The second commandment is like this, to love your neighbour as yourself. Neighbours are not only people living in the same compound but people we come across either in the school, Church, market, workplace or on the streets. Whatsoever is the need of the person, spiritual, physical or material, we are to assist as much as we can. We are to love our enemies by feeding them and praying for them.
Thought for the day: Pray for heart circumcision and a new heart to love.
Song for the day: He loves me I cannot say why (2x), On Calvary’s tree.....
Bible reading for the day:
2 Chronicles 32-33 John 18:24-40

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
