RIGHTEOUSNESS IS NOW BY FAITH

FOR TAKING YOUR TIME TO STUDY THE WORD OF GOD REMAIN BLESSED.

TOPIC: RIGHTEOUSNESS IS NOW BY FAITH

 JUNE Wednesday 2nd

TEXT: ROMANS 1: 15-17

Key verse: Romans 1:17 “For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.”

Righteousness is no longer by the deeds of the law but by faith in the atonement of Christ therefore whoever believes in Christ shall be saved. It is not that a man must be circumcised before he is called a child of God in Christ in this dispensation. No, that does not hold sway any longer, but it is by faith now. So it means both the Jews and the Gentiles are one. As such as many as will believe in the Lord Jesus Christ shall become the children of God now by faith. The Jews were the children of Abraham by birth, but we are the children of Abraham by the faith of the Lord Jesus so the Lord made the provision for us in the church age. This framework of God was not known during the time of Daniel.

The Old Testament Prophets did not know about this period of the Gentiles coming in, which is the period of formation of the church. Therefore, from the period that the Messiah was cut off to this time is more than 2000 years. This period was a mystery and was not revealed in the 70 weeks prophecy of Daniel. In this over 2000 years, the Lord has faced the Gentiles who are as other sheep to bring them into one fold with the Jews. Now, the Lord Jesus is available for anyone who believes in Him by faith. The ceremonial sacrifices and ordinances have been abolished in this new dispensation. The just shall live by faith.

People of the world do not understand how the salvation of mankind could be accomplished through the death of Christ at Calvary. It seemed as foolishness to them but what appears to be the foolishness of God will rather be wiser than the wisdom of men. How could the messiah have come to the world as a child born in a manger?

Thought for the day: Righteousness is no longer by the law but by faith in the atonement of Christ

Song for the day: He paid the debts He did not owe, I owe the debts I could not..

Bible reading for the day: 2 Chronicles 7-9; John 13:1-17

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

The local church should teach and train her members on scriptural fasting. Believers need to know that the Lord expects...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. UNDERSTANDING ETERNITY WEDNESDAY MAY 10 TEXT: Psalm 90: 1 - 2 Key Verse: “The Lord is King forever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land Psalm 10:16 People that understand eternity are always careful. Eternity means forever and ever, it means ever-lasting, ever-living, never dying. Trillion upon trillion years, eternity is still on, in fact it is life without end. There are two extreme ends of eternity: The kingdom of God called third heaven where God the Father, God the son, God the Holy Ghost, twenty-four elders, saints of God that make heaven, holy angels of God, and entire host of heaven dwell now presently; Hell-fire, where Satan, demons, and sinners that have died in their sins are presently kept. God is the One that introduced eternity. He lives forever. It is not a choice, the One who created us is forever, hence you will live forever, but what matters is where you will live eternally. Remove God from the way, then t...
