HEAVEN – GOD’S DWELLING PLACE.  FRIDAY OCTOBER 6
TEXT: ISAIAH 66:1, 1KINGS 8:39A
Key Verse: The Lord hath prepared His throne in the heavens and His kingdom ruleth over all   Ps 103:19
Heaven is the planet where God dwells, the headquarters of the universe. Heaven is a material planet. God took time to create the earth as He took time to create heaven. God created the planet earth to be inhabited by man while He inhabits the planet heaven. The material heaven was brought into existence by God’s word and formed by God’s hand just like in the creation of the earth. In Genesis 1 He spoke many things into existence but in Genesis 2 He actually involved His hands at work to actualize His spoken word. There are three heavens, the first heaven refers to the planet earth, the second heaven refers to the atmospheric heaven, the sky, the firmament, the starry space while the third heaven is where God dwells. Heaven is the kingdom of God, it is the heavenly country, it was created also like the earth. Heaven was created in the dateless past, it is the old work of God. It was created in the beginning before the earth.
In heaven nobody sins because the spirit of God is the one guiding everyone’s action for good not like the earth where three forces are controlling man: flesh(self will), Satan and God. Heaven is made up of three stories suspended over the other with no pillar holding them Eze 42:3-6Over against the twenty cubits which were for the inner court, and over against the pavement which was for the utter court, was gallery against gallery in three stories. And before the chambers was a walk to ten cubits breadth inward, a way of one cubit; and their doors toward the north. Now the upper chambers were shorter: for the galleries were higher than these, than the lower, and than the middlemost of the building. For they were in three storiesbut had not pillars as the pillars of the courts: therefore the building was straitened more than the lowest and the middlemost from the ground. Amos 9:6 ‘It is he that buildeth his stories in the heaven, and hath founded his troop in the earth; he that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his name’. The throne of God is at the topmost storey Job 22:12. Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom Lk 12:32.
Thought for the day: Beloved accept God’s gift of heaven and eternal life and work worthy of it.
Song for the day: show me the way to go to heaven.
Bible Reading for the day: Isaiah 34-36; Philippians 2

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
