THE LOVE OF GOD WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 22 TEXT: 1 JOHN 3:1-3, LUKE 15:11-24 Key verse: “Behold, what manner of love the father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God…”1 John 3:1 Our God is a lover. He created you in love, He made you as an object of love. His plan is to love you always and to love you forever. He built this love life into you so that you can respond in love to Him. You are unable to love Him now because of the effect of sin in your heart. Because He needs your love so much, He has made provision to remove sin from your heart so that you can love him freely and fully. He gave you the privilege to exist alongside with his great and vast creation. He made you in a special way, in a wonderful way. Because your heart is darkened by sin and your spiritual eyes are blinded by Satan so you may not know Him, He has further demonstrated His love toward you by sending you His only Son, Jesus Christ. Through Jesus Christ your sins can be forgiven, your life can be changed, your blind eyes can be opened, your dark mind will receive light and you will get reconciled to Him. God has further proposed to bring you to heaven to be with Him forever. Many people have responded to this great love of God. They have received the gospel and have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior. They have been freed from sin. Enjoy the love of God. It shall be well with you. It shall be well with your family. Let others know that God is a lover. Let them also come along with us to serve the Lord. There is great danger in dying far away from God; Angels will not carry you to heaven because dying far away from God means you do not qualify. God will send your soul to hell. Your relations, parents, friends and acquaintances in Christ shall not see you in heaven. There shall be no remembrance of you. There is danger in living far away from God. Death can strike at any time. There is also a great danger in delaying to come back to God. The door can be closed against you. Don’t die in a far country. Come back home. The Father is waiting for you in His great love for you! Thought for the day: Let others know that God is a lover. Song for the day: He loves me I cannot say why (2x) on Calvary’s tree, He suffered for me… Bible reading for the day: Number 7; Mark 4:21-41 #horemow.

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
