The Knowledge Of Medicine Is Good

Friday 23rd January

Text: 1Timothy 4: 1-5
Key Verse: Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Isaiah 5:20
Before the introduction of conventional or orthodox medicine, herbal or natural medicine had existed in the world. People had been taking medicine and getting cured to the point that the scripture says: A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: Proverbs 17: 22
This tells us that medicines are good. The scriptures show that medicines do good to mankind. It is not out of place in the Scripture to say; “My son, take medicine, for medicine is good,” just as the Scripture also says, “My son, eat thou honey, for honey is good.” If the Bible calls honey a good thing and somebody comes and forbids the eating of honey; saying that you should not eat honey, the same Bible says, woe to that man. The person who says, do not eat honey, it is evil, he/she is saying, that which God says is good is not really good, but evil. That was what Satan told Eve and Adam in the garden to destroy them. Such a person is satanic. Hence, churches that preach against the use of medicines by the sick are doing great evil. The devil interferes a lot among mankind to turn them off from that which is good by naming it evil, especially in the church, to the point that some creation of God, beautiful as it is, given for human benefit, Satan would come and say they are evil; or he passes through some preachers, some religious men, to lay a bad name on a good thing. Medicine has suffered many attacks. Many people have come up to say it is a sin to take medicine, or in fact, that those people that take medicine will go to hell because it shows they do not have faith in Jesus. That is a doctrine of the devil. The scripture says that medicine is good. The Bible says that God created all things good for our use with prayer and thanksgiving.

Thought For The Day: For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving

For taking your time to study remain blessed. UNDERSTANDING ETERNITY WEDNESDAY MAY 10 TEXT: Psalm 90: 1 - 2 Key Verse: “The Lord is King forever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land Psalm 10:16 People that understand eternity are always careful. Eternity means forever and ever, it means ever-lasting, ever-living, never dying. Trillion upon trillion years, eternity is still on, in fact it is life without end. There are two extreme ends of eternity: The kingdom of God called third heaven where God the Father, God the son, God the Holy Ghost, twenty-four elders, saints of God that make heaven, holy angels of God, and entire host of heaven dwell now presently; Hell-fire, where Satan, demons, and sinners that have died in their sins are presently kept. God is the One that introduced eternity. He lives forever. It is not a choice, the One who created us is forever, hence you will live forever, but what matters is where you will live eternally. Remove God from the way, then t...

Every Word Of God For Daily Living For taking your time to study remain blessed July Tuesday 9th TOPIC: WE ARE IN THE TWILIGHT HOUR OF RAPTURE TEXT: Ephesians 5:26-27 KEY VERSE: Hebrews 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. Seeing the traces of the features of the next dispensation in this present dispensation, you should know that you are in the twilight hour. What is a twilight hour? A twilight hour is that hour of the day that you begin to see the traces of the night while it is still daylight (probably 7:00pm to 7:30pm). It is not completely dark, yet it is not complete bright either. While it is still day, you are seeing the traces of the night. A twilight hour is the hour when you are still in this dispensation but you are already seeing traces of the next. The twilight hour is the time that our Lord Jesus Christ was born and even though He came with the New Test...
