Salvation Is An Essential Step To Eternal Life

Wednesday 28th January

Text: John 1:12-13
Key Verse: Acts 16:31 And they said, believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved and thy house.
Salvation is a work of grace that involves a transformation that takes place when one repents from sins, confesses them and turns away from sinful acts. When a sinner repents, he is forgiven, cleansed by the blood of Christ, renewed by the Spirit and reconciled to God. Without being born again, a person cannot be part of God’s kingdom. John 3:3 “Jesus answered and said unto him, verily, verily, I said unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
When a sinner listens to the gospel, repents of his/her sins and exercises faith in the Lord Jesus, he receives the experience of salvation.
Salvation from sins is also called born born-again experience or reconciliation with God. He or she is adopted and becomes a child of God, because he has to put on the nature of God. He is regenerated, reformed and transformed into a newness of life. He has to receive the power to become the child of God; the power to work in righteousness of God, through faith on the Lord Jesus Christ.
2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore if a man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; and behold all things become new.”
When you gave your life to Jesus, you rejoiced because you received a new life. You were joyful. Even the people around you would know that you are a new person, saved and born-again. That is why the Bible says that you are a new creature and all things are now new. You become a changed person with a changed life. You rejoiced because your name has entered into the Book of Life.
As a born-again believer, you now have an interest in serving God; to live a righteous and godly life, making efforts to keep the commandments of God.

Thought For The Day: What a risk if you’re not yet born again.

For taking your time to study remain blessed. UNDERSTANDING ETERNITY WEDNESDAY MAY 10 TEXT: Psalm 90: 1 - 2 Key Verse: “The Lord is King forever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land Psalm 10:16 People that understand eternity are always careful. Eternity means forever and ever, it means ever-lasting, ever-living, never dying. Trillion upon trillion years, eternity is still on, in fact it is life without end. There are two extreme ends of eternity: The kingdom of God called third heaven where God the Father, God the son, God the Holy Ghost, twenty-four elders, saints of God that make heaven, holy angels of God, and entire host of heaven dwell now presently; Hell-fire, where Satan, demons, and sinners that have died in their sins are presently kept. God is the One that introduced eternity. He lives forever. It is not a choice, the One who created us is forever, hence you will live forever, but what matters is where you will live eternally. Remove God from the way, then t...

Every Word Of God For Daily Living For taking your time to study remain blessed July Tuesday 9th TOPIC: WE ARE IN THE TWILIGHT HOUR OF RAPTURE TEXT: Ephesians 5:26-27 KEY VERSE: Hebrews 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. Seeing the traces of the features of the next dispensation in this present dispensation, you should know that you are in the twilight hour. What is a twilight hour? A twilight hour is that hour of the day that you begin to see the traces of the night while it is still daylight (probably 7:00pm to 7:30pm). It is not completely dark, yet it is not complete bright either. While it is still day, you are seeing the traces of the night. A twilight hour is the hour when you are still in this dispensation but you are already seeing traces of the next. The twilight hour is the time that our Lord Jesus Christ was born and even though He came with the New Test...
