Be Holy, Pure And Clean As Mary Was

Thursday 15th January

Text: 2 Timothy 2:19-21
Key Verse: 1 Peter 1:4: But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.
Mary maintained purity and holiness in heart and life. Scriptural account on her before her visitation of the angel attests to this. Mary kept her virginity. She was not a careless woman exposed to immorality. She was not carelessly exposed to young men, not even to the one that proposed to marry her. She was not the type to entice her fiancé to sleep with her. Never! She was not the type that her fiancé would touch, press her breasts and lie with on the bed. She was a clean woman. That is the vessel God uses! The vessel God uses is a vessel unto honour. Mary was a vessel unto honour. When the angel saw her, he shouted in salutation because she had kept herself in the ways of God and in His righteousness. The Angel said, “The Lord is with you!” That is because the Lord is with the righteous, godly and holy. Mary, in her righteousness and holiness, attracted God's attention and so the Lord brought special favour to her life.
The Catholics, who adore Mary, maintain a portrait of Mary’s clothing and adornment devoid of jewellery. I heard of an occasion which someone made a portrait of Mary wearing jewellery and the Catholics went wild worldwide against it. This is because godly women in Bible times never used jewellery or any kind of ungodly adornment. 1 Peter 3:3-Whose adorning, let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel.
Holiness of life is what we are called to. It is a lifestyle we ought to live both in public and in private. Our hearts should be devoid of love for the world. We are to be cleansed from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit. Man should fear God, and man should account of us any day and time that we are original in our Christian faith. We must strive for perfection and purity of heart for heaven.

Thought For The Day: Make yourself holy, you will be a vessel unto honour.

Song For The Day: Give me that old time religion (3x), it’s good enough for me

For taking your time to study remain blessed. UNDERSTANDING ETERNITY WEDNESDAY MAY 10 TEXT: Psalm 90: 1 - 2 Key Verse: “The Lord is King forever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land Psalm 10:16 People that understand eternity are always careful. Eternity means forever and ever, it means ever-lasting, ever-living, never dying. Trillion upon trillion years, eternity is still on, in fact it is life without end. There are two extreme ends of eternity: The kingdom of God called third heaven where God the Father, God the son, God the Holy Ghost, twenty-four elders, saints of God that make heaven, holy angels of God, and entire host of heaven dwell now presently; Hell-fire, where Satan, demons, and sinners that have died in their sins are presently kept. God is the One that introduced eternity. He lives forever. It is not a choice, the One who created us is forever, hence you will live forever, but what matters is where you will live eternally. Remove God from the way, then t...

Pastor Paul Rika’s Burden, Vision and Action To Reach the Unreached (2)

God's blessings will continually accompany you for dedicating time to your studies. Pastor Paul Rika’s Burden, Vision and Action To Reach the Unreached (2) Wednesday 15th October TEXT: Titus 3: 3-6   Key verse: Titus 3: 6 “Which He shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior.” I remember I was in Sao Tome and Principe as a deeper life national overseer and I was writing the book, “Divine Revelation of God’s Holiness and Judgment.” The vision the Lord gave to Michael Sambo. I was translating it into a book, with the scriptural backups to make it a sound evangelistic book. I saw that truly the world is doomed. What will I say about those who have not known Jesus among the 7 billion people on earth; those who do not even have anything to do with Him? Do I speak of the billions in Asia without understanding of Jesus? Out of the 1.4 billion in India, they are struggling to record 150 million Christians including Catholics.  Who knows Jesus then? Even among Pentecosta...
