Jesus Bore Your Sickness And Affliction

Saturday 23rd August

TEXT: Isaiah 53:4-5
Key verse: Matthew 8:16 When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick.
Remember Jesus in your sickness or affliction. Remember that He too bore our sickness and was afflicted. It will help you. Remember He was wounded and suffered pain. He was afflicted. When you know that though you are sick, Jesus bore our sicknesses and pain upon Him. If you remember this, it is going to humble you and make you not feel ashamed because you are sick. For your Lord, He also borne sickness upon Him, sick by our sickness. Sickness and affliction humble you. It makes you not to feel proud that you are afflicted, for He also was afflicted. So, remember Jesus. That humbles you. But how long did He remain in His affliction? How long did He remain in bearing our sickness? It was just for a time and today He is no longer afflicted physically. So, if you remember Jesus, it tells you that as Jesus overcame, you will overcome. As Jesus bore those things for a time when He was in the physical body, so you will not bear that thing forever. A time will come you will put it off. That is why you should remember Jesus when you are sick.
You need to remember Jesus when you are sick because He feels with you when you are sick. The Bible says we are members of His body. He is the head and when a member of the body suffers, the body suffers with it. So, when you are afflicted, lying sick with pain or incapacitation, remember that Jesus is feeling it with you. You could have been up and down doing something for Jesus but you are lying down. His glory is at stake. You could have been somewhere preaching for Him. You would have been somewhere testifying or working for Him but you are lying down because of sickness. You are incapacitated and He feels it. Remember that when Jesus came to the house of Lazarus, He felt it over that man. He felt it with Mary and Martha as He cried.

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

The local church should teach and train her members on scriptural fasting. Believers need to know that the Lord expects...

The Testimony Of Jesus Is Spirit Of Prophecy.

God's blessings will continually accompany you for dedicating time to your studies. The Testimony Of Jesus Is Spirit Of Prophecy.  Monday 10th November  Text: Jude 1: 2-5 Key verse: Jude 1: 3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. The faith of Jesus has already been delivered and it is written in the scriptures. Whatever prophecies, revelations or dreams that comes must not be contrary to the standard in the scripture. They must speak the same thing. The testimony of Jesus is spirit of prophecy. Every prophecy or revelation must honour Jesus and must be according to the written word. Even where they are new things, they must not contradict because the Bible is a summary of the things Jesus did. The Bible cannot contain all things. It must be according to what the scripture has already signified, ...
