Holy and Fervent Youths are the Hope of the Church and Community

Saturday 9th August

Text: 1 Samuel 17: 34- 36
Key verse: Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me
You are the hope of your people, church, community and nation. People ran from Goliath but David said, ‘Let no man's heart fail. God has brought me.’ ‘And Saul said to David, thou art not able to go against this Philistine, to fight with him. For thou art but a youth, and he a man of war from his youth.’ Two youths met here. Goliath was a former youth but David is the present youth. The present shall win over the former because the latter shall be greater than the former. You shall come up with a new ministry and you shall do exploits in your denomination and society. You will perform where those old people could not perform. You shall have spiritual technological power. When they teach you in school for some time, they examine you to know your performance. God examined David through a lion and a bear.
God said, “David, I want to know, and I want you also to know the training you have received. Therefore, I am sending a lion to you tomorrow to take one of the sheep. I want to see your concern and passion. I want to see how you love to protect one sheep at the risk of your life. Then, I want also to see how you handle the most powerful animal in the world. The wildest animal, that even the sound of its roaring makes every other animal to stand still. I want to see how you handle him. And I will also send a bear, so that there should be two witnesses.” (Paraphrased)
A lion came and took a sheep and David ran after the lion. Will you have been able? The Holy Ghost will make you able. He caught the lion and removed the sheep. and the sheep was still alive. The lion became angry and rushed to jump on him. He got him by his beard and slew it. It was a demonstration waiting for Goliath, because he was going to do this on Goliath. The lion died and God nodded His head. “Yes, My boy. You are well trained”. A bear came. He did the same to a bear. Then the Lord said, “Your people are suffering over there. There is a giant torturing your people. I am sending you to do to him exactly what you have done to this lion.”

Thought for the day: The Holy Ghost will make you able.

Song for the day: We are able to go up and take the country

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

The Testimony Of Jesus Is Spirit Of Prophecy.

God's blessings will continually accompany you for dedicating time to your studies. The Testimony Of Jesus Is Spirit Of Prophecy.  Monday 10th November  Text: Jude 1: 2-5 Key verse: Jude 1: 3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. The faith of Jesus has already been delivered and it is written in the scriptures. Whatever prophecies, revelations or dreams that comes must not be contrary to the standard in the scripture. They must speak the same thing. The testimony of Jesus is spirit of prophecy. Every prophecy or revelation must honour Jesus and must be according to the written word. Even where they are new things, they must not contradict because the Bible is a summary of the things Jesus did. The Bible cannot contain all things. It must be according to what the scripture has already signified, ...
