HOREMOW: A SHINING LIGHT AMIDST DARKNESS

God's blessings shall follow you for taking the time to study

TOPIC: HOREMOW: A SHINING LIGHT AMIDST DARKNESS

TEXT: ISAIAH 2:1-3

SATURDAY JULY 1ST

Key verse: Acts 13:47 For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth.
The Lord brought this Movement into the world as a light shining in the darkness. I have set thee as a light. He raised this Movement in this backslidden age to show the Church of Christ the right way to heaven. Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide (non-denominational) was inaugurated in Gwagwalada, Abuja, by sixty people from different states in Nigeria. From that day, meetings began on a chapter basis. At first, because we did not want to interfere with the activities of the denominational churches around us, the Movement met once a month but we noticed that this had no impact on the lives of the people, we began to meet twice a month.
The Lord kept saying that HOREMOW is a leading ministry in the whole world, and other churches are to learn from it. That the ministry is to revive the doctrines of righteousness which have been buried in our present world. Truly, the Lord has used this ministry to revive the holiness doctrine through the teachings. The Movement was founded by Jesus Himself; not by man. HOREMOW does not negotiate doctrines; we have standard doctrines that are universal to the church. God has set standards of biblical truth in HOREMOW. We expect all to believe our teachings as people have been given the grace to do God’s will, just as you buy ready-made clothes that fit you from a shop.
In HOREMOW, the doctrines have been screened for you to just take. Someone visited with his wife and waited to see me after the service. The wife said, when the preaching was going on, she was singing in her heart, "Give me that old-time religion." She said the song just came up in her heart. In HOREMOW, you are coming to the abandoned old path that has now been revived.

Thought for the day: Leaning God’s truth is our heritage in Holiness Movement

Song for the day: The light must shine; the light of God must shine …

Bible reading for the day: Job 21-22; Acts 10:1-23

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
