TOPIC: TRADITION OF MAN IN CONTENTION AGAINST DIVINE REVELATION. 

TEXT: JOHN 9:18-23. 

 KEY VERSE: 1 Corinthians 14:26 “How is it then, brethren? When ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying.”
In recent times, the Lord has been taking people to heaven and hell and giving revelations of life and truth which are registered and accepted in people’s conscience as the word of God. Some people know that the revelations are the voice of God speaking to them but because their denominational leaders speak against these revelations, they too have rejected them and are following their leaders to hell. Woe unto them that have honored denominational leaders above Jesus. 
John 9:18-23
18 But the Jews did not believe concerning him, that he had been blind, and received his sight until they called the parents of him that had received his sight.
19 And they asked them, saying, Is this your son, who ye say was born blind? how then doth he now see?
20 His parents answered them and said, We know that this is our son and that he was born blind:
21 But by what means he now seeth, we know not; or who hath opened his eyes, we know not: he is of age; ask him: he shall speak for himself.
22 These words spake his parents, because they feared the Jews: for the Jews had agreed already, that if any man did confess that he was Christ, he should be put out of the synagogue.
23 Therefore said his parents, He is of age; ask him.
The preacher who has rejected the revelations and visitations of God in our generation is on his way to eternal damnation for refusing to repent from his ungodly life and doctrine but people are still following him. The people have also joined their leaders in saying, ‘Our church says, nothing is wrong with earrings.’ Yet they know that these revelations are from God, with sufficient evidence. Do they know where their denominational church is going to?
Why are the elders using church discipline to rob God of His glory? The man born blind in our text rejoiced because God opened his eyes but the leaders cast him out of fellowship because he said Jesus was a prophet of God? These are agents of Satan that have been released against the truth of God in His church; to carry people to hell. The Lord is delivering His people from denominational bondage. He did not create them for any man. He did not save them for any denominational church. He created them for Himself.

Thought for the day: No denomination died for her members, Christ did.
