GREETINGS DEARLY BELOVED

TOPIC: CHILDLESSNESS CAN NOT NULLIFY MARRIAGE

TEXT: LUKE 1:5-7
KEY VERSE: Matthew 19:6 “Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God had joined together, let not man put asunder.”
Many homes and marriages are broken today for several reasons. One of the major reasons is childlessness or barrenness. Marriage is between a man and a woman and there can be no separation on account of childlessness. Barrenness is a possibility in this life and you are not the only one with such a case. The scripture gives an account of precious people in the heart of God who have been barren.
Up till today, there are still precious people among us that are barren and are in active service of God. So it is a common phenomenon and should not affect the marriage union. Zachariah and Elizabeth his wife had no child until they were both stricken in age and yet they were holy and perfect.
Luke 1:5-8
5 There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elisabeth.
6 And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.
7 And they had no child because Elisabeth was barren, and they both were now well stricken in years.
8 And it came to pass, that while he executed the priest's office before God in the order of his course,
Stop blaming each other for your childlessness. Why are you blaming your wife for your childlessness? Is she a child manufacturing industry? Is it in her heart not to have a child? Why are you blaming your husband? Is it in his will not to have a child? This blame game is causing trouble in the home and it is hindering many from going to Heaven. Some husbands refuse to play their conjugal role to their wives and visa, and vice for this singular reason.
Remember that playing your part in that woman’s life is for God’s sake, for your soul’s sake, and heaven’s sake. Why do you refuse to yield to your husband? You may say “All this while, no benefit has come from it”. Is it only for child-bearing that God gave you to that man? Is it for the sake of children you will satisfy that man? No! Do not allow childlessness or barrenness to affect righteousness and holiness in your Christian life and marriage.

Thought for the day: God knows the reason for your barrenness

Song for the day: The Joy of the Lord is my strength.

Bible reading for the day: Job 4-6; Acts 7:20-43.

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
