DAILY DEVOTIONAL BY PASTOR PAUL RIKA INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR

JUNE 15TH WEDNESDAY

TOPIC: THE LORD IS NOT TOO WEAK TO SAVE YOU

TEXT: ISAIAH 59:1.

KEY VERSE: Nahum 1:7 “The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and He knoweth them that trust Him.”
This is a world in which the operation of My power is wilfully restricted by man. Desiring to be in control of one’s destiny, and to live to one’s standards, attracts the inevitable crowding-out of My influence. My child, although this is not so in your life, see the danger of restricting the operation of My power, which occurs when you feverishly plan what would have been so much better left to Me. All that I could do is to care for you, help, or watch you hold up those very factors which would answer your prayers.
Isaiah 59:1-3
9 Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:
2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.
3 For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue hath muttered perverseness.
Eventually, My plans for you must be accomplished, but you are open to frustration, and so much regret of self-will, rather than trust, allow positive plans to motivate you even if merely for some of the time. My child, show the restraint which speaks of My greatness, as applied to your life. Evil would wish you to curtail the flow of My power on your behalf. Do all that you can, to ensure that I can exert My influence, and bring without imperfection, My loving purposes for you?
Psalm 73:23-26
23. Nevertheless I am continual with thee: thou hast holden me by my right hand.
24. thou shall guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.
25. Who have I in heaven but thee? And there is non upon the earth that I desire beside thee.
26. My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion forever.

Thought for the day: If the Lord your God cannot save them, who else?

Song for the day: Trust and obey, for there’s no other way.

Bible reading for the day: Ezra 9-10; Acts 1

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
