YOU ARE CREATED FOR SERVICE

REMAIN BLESSED AS YOU TAKE YOUR TIME TO STUDY THE WORD OF GOD AMEN.

SATURDAY 19TH MARCH

YOU ARE CREATED FOR SERVICE
TEXT: Luke 10: 30 – 37
Key verse: John 6: 9 One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, saith unto him, There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many?
Man is created for God's service and to worship Him. He created Eve to serve Adam and Adam to serve Him. In Christ, we are recreated for His service. 2 Corinthians 5:17; "Therefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things have become new."  In Christ, you are a new creature. You need to serve in the new things now. You are here for service; to serve God and man.
The call to Christian service is a call to serve God and men. Jesus said, I do the will of my Father which is in heaven (John 8: 29), which is service to God. All that thou has given to me I have kept except the son of perdition (John 17: 12). That is man service. Do that which will give God glory. Anything you will do to God, man and society do it well. That is the purpose of your existence. The little boy with five loaves and two fishes was there for service; he released those items to serve God and man.
The purpose of service is to recover the wounded man. Our text for today showed the service of the Good Samaritan:
1. He had compassion on him. If you have compassion, you will serve. You will both serve God and man. Develop a compassionate heart for the wounded. Many are spiritually wounded, go and heal them. Speak words of comfort to them. Take actions of comfort.
2. He poured in oil and wine. Use your materials and spend your resources for evangelism
3. He set him on his beast. Learn to suffer for people; be identified with suffering, the unemployed, the unmarried, the sick, the barren, etc…
4. He brought him to an inn. Provide security and home to those in predicaments;
5. He took care of him:
Ensure you provide food and clothing to brethren; If this can be done to a stranger, what about us that have known each other. Our Services to God is all the days of our lives. God saved you to serve Him. Do not allow anything to remove Christian service from you. The olive tree was to receive promotion but rejected it because it will rob God of His service and glory. Give up that honour that will keep you from serving God. Poverty and wretchedness must not tamper with your services to God and men. God brought you here to graduate you as a true Christian for the world to learn from.

Thought for today: Be faithful in your service to God and man

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
