LOVE IN THE BODY OF CHRIST

TEXT: 1 Corinthians 12: 12-14

Key verse: John 13: 34 "A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

The body of Christ tells of people baptized by the Holy Spirit; by regenerative experience: born-again; living in newness of life achieved by the Holy Spirit through Jesus Christ. Except a man is born of water (the word) and the Spirit (the principal agent of change, he cannot enter the kingdom of God). As the body is one, it means all believers are one. They are brought together by one Spirit. It is a spiritual experience: for by one Spirit, we have been joined into one body. The body is not one member but many. The body has different components that made it up. Some members are internal and invisible while some are external and visible; 1 Corinthians 12: "26.

We are commanded to Love. 1 John 4: 7-8"Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God, and every one that loveth is born of God and knoweth God. 8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love." Make sure you exercise love among brethren, love your brothers, love your sisters, and love all. If a person does not love, he is not born of God or could have lost his new birth experience. He that does not know God cannot show love; darkness is in him. God showed His love in providing the natural things you see around us. More than that, He expressed the extent of His love by releasing His very Son for our redemption. Love is what rules heaven. It is the life of heaven. There is no hatred there. It is love all the way. That is why nothing short of love will enter heaven.

We are commanded to love our enemies. Matthew 5: 44, 48  "But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute 48, Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect." The Lord in His love protects even evil people. When you only love those who love you, it is satanic. Why not give out love first before receiving it? Don't you see love among the heathen? Despite that, they don't have the power to love their enemies. Love them that despise and speak evil of you as your heavenly Father does. Love has two hands; the right hand and the left hand, the other side is to show love for your enemies also. Your Father in heaven allows the rain to fall on the evil and the good without discrimination. Be like your heavenly Father. Love your wife despite the adultery against you.  That is the left hand of love. Forgive;   that you might be perfect as your heavenly Father is.

Thought for today: It is Love that keeps the body, loves the brethren.

Song for the day: I will love (4x) I will love all Jesus people…

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
