FREE YOURSELF FROM THE BURDEN OF GUILT

For taking your time to study remain blessed.

FRIDAY 17 SEPTEMBER

FREE YOURSELF FROM THE BURDEN OF GUILT
TEXT: Isaiah 43:18-21
Key verse:  Psalm 103:12 As far as the east is from the west, so far does He
remove our transgressions from us.

My child, it is always right to condemn yourself for sin, but it is never My wish that you spend time in a state of self-condemnation. If there is true sorrow for what has been wrong, My forgiveness is instantaneous. In My sight, you are made clean and worthy of My very best care. Guilt can produce yet more unworthy conduct — and the burden of guilt does not serve My purposes for you. My love not only sweeps away all sin when you look to Me in genuine sorrow over that sin, but it also sweeps away all attendant evil influences. Remember, no encouragement in sin and defeat. I am your Savior; your life-long source of loving forgiveness and hope.

Ezekiel 36:25-28 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and all your idols, will I cleanse you. A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them. And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers, and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.

The sense of being renewed each day, and the hope which this brings, is so much part of living with Me. How often you have been aware of being saved from the consequences of your foolishness and selfishness, of being lifted clear of those consequences to a place where you can almost hear Me saying, "Yes, you can start again!" My child, My forgiveness makes new. My peace makes new. All other "renewal" from earthly sources is limited and conditional upon so many things. My renewal is your birthright as a trusting child, growing in the knowledge of My way. There is a new factor in relationships, a new factor in long-standing problems when I am allowed to enter. Nothing is more precious for you, personally than the new beginnings without number, which you can enjoy. New beginnings steadily reduce those times of failure. New beginnings shorten, drastically, the effects of the failures which do occur!

Thought for the day: Genuine repentance leads to a new relationship with God.
Song for the day: Lord prepares me,  a sanctuary, pure and holy, tried and proved…
Bible reading for the day: Ecclesiastes 1-3; 2 Corinthians 9

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
