DO NOT ALLOW YOUR HEART TO CONDEMN YOU WITHOUT CAUSE

TEXT: Romans 8:1-6

Key verse: 1 John 3:20 For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart,

and knoweth all things.

You are responsible for the condition of your heart. You can do something to control it. Don't allow your heart to condemn you without a cause. God himself is saying you have something to do concerning this heart now. Your heart is telling you that you are condemned in spite of this pure Christianity you are practicing. Your heart is telling you that you will not make it to heaven. No, don't accept that! All these prayers, all these promises from scripture, are they not enough to give you assurance? Today's key verse says, “For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.”

But you could be condemned indeed if you did evil. Your heart could be condemning you because you have done evil. You are uneasy and not at peace because indeed you have spoken or done a bad thing. Didn't David says his heart smote him because he had cut off Saul's skirt? How much more laying his hands on the Lord's anointed? Maybe that is why your heart is condemning you. Maybe you have cut off the hem of the garment of somebody the Lord loves. That is why your heart is condemning you. Maybe you have joined some people to do something bad and you are a child of God. Maybe you committed an abortion and now your heart is condemning you. Also, ignorance or wrong teachings can affect the condition of your heart and it will condemn you. Or it could simply be the accusation of Satan.

Bible says, “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” If the Holy Spirit has not revealed any sin in your life and nobody has also come to say this is what you did against him or her; if you have checked yourself and there is no conviction of sin, why are you allowing your heart to condemn you still? That condemnation is not from God but from the devil. Refuse what that heart is saying; reject what that heart is saying, for there is no condemnation to them who are in Christ Jesus who walk not after the flesh but after the spirit.

Thought for the day: Rejoice in the salvation of the Lord and reject Satan's false

accusation.

Song for the day: If God be-for-us….who can be against us

Bible reading for the day: Proverbs 13-14; 1 Corinthians 16

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
