TOPIC: TESTIMONY OF MIRACULOUS REUNION OF BROKEN MARRIAGE
TEXT: 1 Corinthians 7:10-11
Key verse: Hebrews 13:4 Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.

Narrated by a Chapter leader in Horemow

I heard of a couple that were having marital problems after being in marriage for many years. In fact, their only daughter was over 16 years old. I visited and listened to them. Thereafter, I encouraged them with the word of God. Later, I heard that they had separated, although many people including pastors had counseled and pleaded with them to settle their differences. I visited the man again and enquired of his wife. He told me that she decided on her own to pack out of the matrimonial home. I collected the wife’s number and left. Next time I heard that the case was now in court for legal divorce.

It was within this period that we had our chapter meeting and as God arranged it, the message of the International Director was “True and False Doctrines in Christianity.” I was so much touched on how Pastor Paul Rika spoke on issues of marriage that I bought two CDs of that message for the man and his wife. I went back to the man and he narrated to me how far they have gone in the law court. I told him that I have nothing to say again but to request of a favour from him; that he should listen to this message and I gave him the message. I traced the wife with the number the husband gave to me. I preached to the woman with her only daughter (about 16 years) whom she went along with. But the woman insisted that she had decided to be alone. Then I gave her the CD and pleaded with her to listen to it carefully and then conclude on what to do. To the glory of God, the man later called me in excitement and informed me that his wife had returned to their matrimonial home with their daughter and that the case had been withdrawn from the court. I was overwhelmed with joy, and decided to visit them and see for myself. Praise the Lord Jesus! The couple are now living joyfully together. Please I encourage all Horemow members to use the messages of our Pastor for personal edification and evangelism. Praise the Lord!

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

January Saturday 18th TOPIC: HOW TO ATTAIN BIBLE HOLINESS TEXT: Romans 6:20-23 KEY VERSE: Romans 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. Besides the essential knowledge of the holy life of a Christian, it is good to understand the manner and process of becoming holy before God. Holiness of life is a life that has overcome sin through the saving power of Jesus Christ. Romans 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. It is a life that does not commit sin. 1John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for His seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. Getting this experience requires four things: 1. Know that apart from holiness, there is no alternative lifestyle for heaven. Hebrews 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holin...
