TOPIC: THE LANGUAGE OF FORETELLING YOUR FUTURE
TEXT: Genesis 37: 5–11
KEY VERSE: Genesis 37:8  And his brethren said to him, Shalt thou indeed reign over us? or shalt thou indeed have dominion over us? And they hated him yet the more for his dreams, and for his words.

The future of Joseph was revealed in some kinds of events, interactions and experiences in his life, which I term The Language Foretelling His Future. You will notice these also in your life in practical sense as you grow up and go through life experiences.

1. The Language of Special Love. Jacob loved Joseph (Genesis 37:3). Jacob’s special love for Joseph was a communication that something valuable was in him. By divine inspiration, Jacob was saying to Joseph, “I have received information that you will become somebody.”
2. Coat of Many Colours (Genesis 37:3). That is another language of Joseph’s future. Anytime Joseph wore this coat, he was different from his brethren. Jacob, the father was saying, “Joseph, this unique cloth you have is speaking of your future. It is a language of the future. The cloth will eventually perish, but the message this cloth is passing to you will abide forever.”
3. The Language of Undeserved Hatred (Genesis 37: 4). The hatred you experience from your brethren and from others, for reasons you cannot tell, and things you are not responsible for, is a message. Their hatred for you is speaking of your future, telling you that something great lies ahead for you. If you were nobody, they will not waste their time on you. Whether it is the language of love by your loved ones, or of hatred by your enemies, you should understand that it is a pronouncement of God about your bright future.
4. The Language of Special Dreams (Genesis 37:5-11). The future was involved in these dreams. Have you ever dreamt about your future? But sometimes Satan too can give you a dream spelling a dark future for you. Reject that dream and cancel it in Jesus name. Amen. The dream that God has given you is the one you shall pray and claim. Joseph’s future was described to him in a dream, in the language that he did not understand. Joseph was a small boy of 17 years old or maybe even less! God was telling this small boy of a great future. Do not underrate yourself when God is telling you about your future. Do not look at who you are now, “for the just shall live by faith.” Trust in God’s word alone. He that promised shall bring it to fulfilment. Amen.

Thought for the day: Understand the language of destiny and key into it.
Song for the day: Open my eyes O Lord
Bible reading for the day:

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

January Saturday 18th TOPIC: HOW TO ATTAIN BIBLE HOLINESS TEXT: Romans 6:20-23 KEY VERSE: Romans 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. Besides the essential knowledge of the holy life of a Christian, it is good to understand the manner and process of becoming holy before God. Holiness of life is a life that has overcome sin through the saving power of Jesus Christ. Romans 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. It is a life that does not commit sin. 1John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for His seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. Getting this experience requires four things: 1. Know that apart from holiness, there is no alternative lifestyle for heaven. Hebrews 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holin...
