The Dressing Of The Godly Woman

Sunday 23rd March

Text: 1 Timothy 2: 9-10.
Key verse: But let it be the hidden man of the heart in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price. 1 Peter 3: 4.
Dressing as a godly woman is very important. As a Christian woman, the way you dress matters because, “Without holiness, no one shall see the Lord.” Many believe that God looks inside the heart only and is not concerned with the outward, but the Lord has covered His face from us because of our sinful outward dressing and lifestyle. The Lord is not happy with the way we live our lives. The Bible, emphasizing the holiness of life, says that the women of old, adorn themselves: nice, clean, fine, but in modest, and godly apparel with shamefacedness. You should cover your body well so that no part will be exposed to make you ashamed. Cover your body well. Do not expose your body. Dress with shamefacedness. Women need to feel shy when any part of their sensitive body is exposed. Have self-control and sobriety, not with braided hair, a fanciful hairdo, like harlots or other sinners on the street, wanting to sell their bodies. Gold, pearls, etc. are very costly and women in those days wore them to add to their dignity. The Lord is against their use. They are not just normal things in life, but they are things used for pride among women. They are for the extra beauty of women to attract men to themselves and pollute the society. This is against righteousness and godliness. These pearls or costly array help high society women to dress above others. Such women want to put on costly dresses, to look superior in the society because they want to promote self and look prestigious. They wear costly clothes that will make them raise their shoulders very high above other women in the society; thereby, putting women into problems. They are the ones troubling the church. They cause women to turn their minds away from God to them. They now look at them and want to emulate them to also feel important. That is not a godly example. Be an example to believers in words, in conversation, in faith, and in charity.
Thought For The Day: Your dressing as a godly woman matters much.
Song For The Day: Holiness is thy beauty of believers; Lord I want to be holy…

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
