The Place Of Planning, Battling, Prayer, And Wisdom In Child Training

Text: Proverbs 6:4-11

Wednesday 8th January

Key Verse: If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally and upbraideth not and he shall be given him.   James 1:5
The training of children involves prayer, praying to God for yourself to make you fit for the work. Pray for resources, effective materials, and good connections, in case you are not where the child is. Seek for the method or methods that you can use to succeed in this good work. It involves prayer and fasting, battling with forces of corruption that go about corrupting children. The right methods and the right persons all have to be employed in the business of child training. It is because if the child is not properly trained, she will behave badly. When your fingernails are not trimmed, we see dirt under them. You were too busy to cut them. You kept on forgetting. Your forgetfulness keeps on increasing the dirt inside your fingernails.
Your face is becoming bushy because you have not been able to shave. You did not have time. Your face is beginning to change such that we are finding it difficult to recognize you now. Beard has taken over your face. Why? This is because you are not shaving your beard. Likewise, with child training, if you fail to train your children, they will become weird and wild. Ask God for grace. Ask him to help you, and empower you to train them. Children that are well trained are a blessing to their parents and the world at large. Happy is a man that has a number of well-trained children. They are blessing! It was said of John Wesley’s mother that she had many children, nine of which survived to adulthood and she decided to train them all to become ministers of God. She worked on them all, Except one, probably that was not a minister of the gospel. She gave them good training. She gave them time. You can do so too. Have a goal in training your children.
Thought For The Day: With God in the place of prayer, your child can be trained in His will.
Song For The Day: He’s everything, Jesus is everything to me…

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
