Holy Christians Do Not Use Jewelry

God bless you for taking the time to study

Holy Christians Do Not Use Jewelry Saturday 4th January
Text: 1 Timothy 2:8-10
Key verse: Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, or of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel. 1 Peter 3:3
Gold or jewelry denotes items of ornamentation or adornment used by both men and women. They are items of decoration and charming beauty. These include earrings, nose rings, necklaces, chains, bracelets, and rings. The jewels and other materials used in the manufacturing of jewelry consist of precious stones and metals, etc. Earrings are made of various sizes, shapes, and materials. They are made from gold, silver, brass, ivory, stones, and wood. They are sometimes plain and sometimes adorned with precious stones. Some are small and stick closely to the ear, leaving no intermediate space, while others are large and heavy and drop some distance below the ear. Some of these by their weight leave a disagreeable-looking hole in the part of the ear where they are hung. They pull down the ear making the hole visible. The word “jewelry” is an all-inclusive word covering these items of adornment or bodily beauty used by women and men.
Those who use jewelry in their dressing give various reasons for their use. To some, the use of earrings and nose rings by women differentiates them from men and serves as a feminine identification mark. Some claim that the use of rings on various fingers, and maybe toes, have their significance. They say that the public may need to be informed that they are not yet married, or are engaged, married, or in widowhood, etc. This information is conveyed to those they interact with through the use of rings on their fingers and toes. Some claim that the use of golden jewelry by God's children shows that they are not children of poverty but of the rich and wealthy God. By this conviction, they hang golden chains, necklaces, earrings, and bracelets, to appear flamboyant and ostentatious in their adornment. Some use these things innocently and ignorantly, not for any reason, but because they see them on other men and women, and consider them as articles of human adornment. Reasons for the use of jewelry change with the changing world but God’s word never changes.
Thought For The Day: Holy Christians do not use jewelry so, glorify God in your body.

Every Word Of God For Daily Living For taking your time to study remain blessed July Tuesday 9th TOPIC: WE ARE IN THE TWILIGHT HOUR OF RAPTURE TEXT: Ephesians 5:26-27 KEY VERSE: Hebrews 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. Seeing the traces of the features of the next dispensation in this present dispensation, you should know that you are in the twilight hour. What is a twilight hour? A twilight hour is that hour of the day that you begin to see the traces of the night while it is still daylight (probably 7:00pm to 7:30pm). It is not completely dark, yet it is not complete bright either. While it is still day, you are seeing the traces of the night. A twilight hour is the hour when you are still in this dispensation but you are already seeing traces of the next. The twilight hour is the time that our Lord Jesus Christ was born and even though He came with the New Test...
