God bless you for taking the time to study.

Get Wisdom for Evangelism

Sunday 5th January

Text: Proverb 8:6-8
Key verse: The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise. Proverbs 11:30.
Wisdom is highly required to preach this gospel and win souls to the Lord Jesus Christ. In Ecclesiastes 10:10 “If the iron be blunt, and he do not whet the edge, then must he put to more strength: but wisdom is profitable to direct.” If you are using a knife that is blunt to peel cassava, it will not be easy. You will put in a lot of effort, and a lot of energy to peel the cassava. You will suffer frustration because the knife is blunt. You have a blunt cutlass, and you want to cut the grass, or to cut down a tree, what a great and fruitless energy you are going to apply!
The reason the churches of God are getting discouraged in evangelism in this present time is because the iron is blunt. Instead of burning energy, spending money on outreaches without fruits, and becoming discouraged, sit down, sharpen your knife and you will see yourself performing very well. When you see the fruits of your evangelism, you will have joy and will be more interested in evangelism. Therefore, you need wisdom. Wisdom is profitable to direct. The world is turning away from God because of sinful civilization. The world is been filled with Churches. Look at our field of evangelism. See the arguments that are there; the resistance that is there; the familiarity to the gospel that is there; and the attacks that are there. But through wisdom we shall win some to Christ; so, apply wisdom.
The Bible tells us that he who must win souls to Christ must be a wise man. If you are going to win your mother, you must be wise. If you want to win your argumentative father, you need wisdom. If you want to win your husband to Christ; you want to win your wife to Christ; you must be wise. If you want to go forth and be a fruitful evangelist, you must be wise. If you want to turn the people to righteousness there must be wisdom. There must be understanding if you want to implant righteousness in the society. Seek wisdom and understanding.

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
