TOPIC: GOD'S WISDOM, KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING IS NECESSARY FOR HOLY MINISTRY

TEXT: EXODUS 31:1-6

KEY VERSE: PROVERBS 2:6 “For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of His mouth cometh knowledge and understanding”.

If I say ministry, some people think it's only Pastors who stand in the pulpit and preach. They exempt themselves because they are ignorant that everyone performing one function or the other for the Lord or in the house of God needs the wisdom of God in order to render satisfactory service unto God.

Whatever your service, be it ushering, chorister or security, you are performing service unto the Lord and needs God’s wisdom. The media workers and children teachers also required God’s wisdom, knowledge and understanding in order to excel.

In our text, The Lord told Moses He called by name, Bazaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah:  It will shock you that the Lord knows you and calls you by name. You may think you are not relevant. I'm sure it shocked this man, Bazaleel. He was not a Levite, he was not a priest. But the Lord said, I called him by name.

What did the Lord say He did? “And I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship”. Service in all manner of field. I have given him wisdom, knowledge and understanding for all kinds of service that pertains to this temple work. All kinds of service, God gives wisdom.

In our key verse, you will understand that “the Lord gives wisdom”. I'm saying this to prepare you that whatever you do, don’t think it is secular work, the name of the Lord is attached to it. Bazaleel's own was in construction of the temple.

Is that not secular work? Did it involve preaching? But he needed wisdom for it because the name of the Lord is in it. I'm saying this so you can ask God for wisdom. How much more you who are dedicated worker in the house of God, pray, go and collect; For God gives wisdom to all men liberally. You will be wise and useful.

Thought for the day: Whatever your service, ask God to fill you with wisdom

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
