A MAN’S CALL TO MINISTRY INCLUDES HIS WIFE

God bless you for taking the time to study.

TOPIC: A MAN’S CALL TO MINISTRY INCLUDES HIS WIFE

TEXT: GENESIS 12: 1-4

SATURDAY MARCH 4th

Key verse: Romans 12:11 “Not slothful in business, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord.”
The standard of the divine call is exemplified in the life and ministry of Abraham. Abraham was called the father of faith. The Lord was going to bring out the gospel to the world through Abraham Through Abraham we see the gospel of faith spread to the ends of the world to the point that we are called the children of Abraham. Of course, women are called the daughters of Sarah. This is the standard Christian ministry God desires for the man and the woman. Sarah played her role well to give us the gospel which we rejoice upon this day. God would want us to go through this because ministry got lost when people began to go into ministry without standards. Those that entered into ministry entered into it without this complete formation. Many are in ministry but their wives are not cooperating. For ministry to be effective, the family of the preacher must play their role.
A tough and uncooperating wife will frustrate and destroy the privilege of ministry that God has given to the husband. God has called and anointed people giving them grace but their wives are just frustrating them. The man is just dragging, there is a battle and quarrel at home. Why? He has a wife that is frustrated with this work, a wife that does not want to raise pure, holy, dedicated men for this work, though they may be few and you that is their wife must cooperate with them. You must submit to them and play your role well with them so that they carry out this ministry successfully as Abraham did. How can the servant of God rule his own house if the wife is not cooperating? How can his children be under subjection if the wife is not cooperating if it is none of the business of the wife? She is full of the business of money, full of herself, full of complaints, full of laziness, and full of weaknesses, she is even a doorway for Satan into the house, family and so into the ministry. How can this be? That is why the Lord has to speak to women.

Thought for the day: An uncooperative wife will hinder the ministry of her husband

Song for the day: I have a wonderful treasure, the gift of God without measure

Bible reading for the day: Numbers 32-33; Mark 10:1-31

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
