HOREMOW IS JESUS’ MINISTRY

FOR TAKING YOUR TIME TO STUDY THE WORD OF GOD REMAIN BLESSED.

DATE: FRIDAY APRIL 2

TOPIC: HOREMOW IS JESUS’ MINISTRY

TEXT: Galatians 2: 7-8
7 But contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as the gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter;
8 (For he that wrought effectually in Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision, the same was mighty in me toward the Gentiles:)

Key verse: Ephesians 1:4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

Paul, the apostle, was called to a great ministry. He guarded jealously the work of the Lord put in his care. He had people working alongside him to do the work of the Lord. The great work committed to him could not be denied, all those around him knew it, and Paul knew it too.

 It was to Paul that the message was given, to reach out to the Gentiles and make them live righteous lives. Paul called this ministry his ministry, his gospel and therefore exercised his God-given authority in managing this ministry.

Though Paul addressed this ministry work like him, it was the Lord's purpose being fulfilled through Paul. If you see then that this work we are trying to do in this movement is of the Lord, why then are you entertaining wrong counsel from people concerning it?

These people tell you, ‘this ministry is for Pastor Paul Rika; it is not yours, why are you working yourself tirelessly trying to fulfil someone else's ministry?’ It is evident that these your ‘counsellors' have little understanding of the ways and workings of God.

Paul worked with Barnabas, Silas, Timothy, Titus and Luke that God brought to him. All these served under Paul. The ministry was committed to Paul and not to any of these other men. So, why are you deceived into thinking the ministry has got to be in your name before you can serve and commit yourself to His work wholeheartedly?

Why are you so self-seeking, seeking glory and fame for yourself, rather than seeking to glorify the Lord? Why not appreciate the Lord for ordering your steps to this glorious ministry, and inquire of Him what He needs for you to do to promote His course in this end-time?

The ministry is always given to one man, and it is according to the Lord’s plan that with the spirit of unity among all, the ministry work will be carried out and for all to benefit from it. If you reject this plan of God there is no alternative plan for you elsewhere.

Thought for the day: Appreciate God for ordering your steps to this glorious ministry

Song for the day: I am so glad I belong to Jesus

Bible reading for the day: Judges 8-9;

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

The local church should teach and train her members on scriptural fasting. Believers need to know that the Lord expects...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. UNDERSTANDING ETERNITY WEDNESDAY MAY 10 TEXT: Psalm 90: 1 - 2 Key Verse: “The Lord is King forever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land Psalm 10:16 People that understand eternity are always careful. Eternity means forever and ever, it means ever-lasting, ever-living, never dying. Trillion upon trillion years, eternity is still on, in fact it is life without end. There are two extreme ends of eternity: The kingdom of God called third heaven where God the Father, God the son, God the Holy Ghost, twenty-four elders, saints of God that make heaven, holy angels of God, and entire host of heaven dwell now presently; Hell-fire, where Satan, demons, and sinners that have died in their sins are presently kept. God is the One that introduced eternity. He lives forever. It is not a choice, the One who created us is forever, hence you will live forever, but what matters is where you will live eternally. Remove God from the way, then t...
