ACTIONS OF PRAISE AND THANKSGIVING TO GOD

God bless you for taking your time to study. TOPIC: ACTIONS OF PRAISE AND THANKSGIVING TO GOD  TEXT: PSALM 35:27-28    MONDAY NOVEMBER 14th Key verse: Hebrew 13:15...By him, therefore, let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name. Praise and thanksgiving to God come from the heart in bubbles of joy that manifest in various ways. The joy of praise and thanksgiving flows from our hearts to our mouths, gets formed into articulate words and sounds by our tongues, and comes out through our lips to God and the hearing ears. The psalmist puts it this way: I will praise the name of God with a song and will magnify Him with thanksgiving. New Testament puts it this way: By Him, therefore, let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks unto His name (Hebrews 13:15) We can praise God through the following: (i) Words of praise and thanksgiving (ii) Songs of prais...

A CARELESS CHRISTIAN WILL MISS THE RAPTURE

God bless you for taking your time to study. A CARELESS CHRISTIAN WILL MISS THE RAPTURE TEXT: MATTHEW 27:3-10  SATURDAY NOVEMBER 12th Key verse: Acts. 1:20 “For it is written in the book of Psalms, Let his habitation be desolate, and let no man dwell therein: and his bishopric let another take”. Being born again is a thing of joy, but the best is yet to come. You can be born again and still miss the rapture. Unbelievers will not miss the rapture because they are not meant to be raptured anyway. It is the careless Christians that can miss the rapture because they are expected to go with Christ, not the unbelievers because you don’t miss a flight you did not book the ticket.  If you did not buy the ticket, you were not supposed to be on the flight because your name is not in the manifest. Those whose names are in the manifest and either by the reason of delay or frivolity, they did not come on time; went out of the city for sightseeing and they could not return in good time befo...

ADOPTION OF CHILDREN

God bless you for taking your time to study. TOPIC: ADOPTION OF CHILDREN THURSDAY NOVEMBER 10th TEXT: Romans 8:15-17; Ephesians 1:5  Key verse: But as many as receive Him, to them gave He power to become sons of God, even to them that believe in his name. John 1:12 Adoption means to accept or claim ownership or parenthood of a child that is not directly one’s biological child. This makes the child enjoy the benefit of parenthood throughout his/her life. He/she is your child and heir as any of your children. Adoption is good and acceptable in the sight of God. We were not children of God, but He made us become part of His family not through the natural process of human conception, but through adoption. Bringing a person into a family using adoption is done by choice and out of love. Our Lord Jesus was adopted by Joseph, His mother’s husband, who took Him as his child. God chose that His Son should be adopted. If adoption was good enough for the Son of God, then it is a blessing for ...

APPRECIATE THE MENTORSHIP OF PASTOR PAUL RIKA

God bless you for taking your time to study. APPRECIATE THE MENTORSHIP OF PASTOR PAUL RIKA  TEXT: TITUS 1: 1 – 3   WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 9th Key verse: Matthew 10:40 He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.  The Lord raised Pastor Paul Rika for the end-time revival of the church worldwide. He gave him knowledge, wisdom, and understanding of the Holy Scriptures. Many who had encounters with the Lord were led to Pastor Paul Rika for mentorship. Some of them are completely ignorant of scripture and may not share their testimonies appropriately except with scriptural guidance and proper mentorship.  The following are some testimonies:   Michael Sambo – In his encounter, he asked the Lord, “You have shown me that Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide is a ministry given to Pastor Paul Rika, what about me?  What do you have for me? The Lord replied “I have brought you to a mentor, follow him. He has a ministry and ...

JOSIAH THE YOUTH WITH ZEAL FOR

God bless you for taking your time to study. TOPIC: JOSIAH THE YOUTH WITH ZEAL FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS TEXT: 2 CHRONICLES 34: 1-7        TUESDAY NOVEMBER 8th Key verse: Matthew 6: 33. But seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you, Idol worship has been one of the strong traditions parents pass over to their children for continuity. By this singular act of satanic worship, altars are erected in many places to serve this purpose and to renew the covenant from time to time. Idolatry was practiced among the children of God in Judah and Jerusalem. Josiah rose as a youth to do a great reform that reconciled his people back to God. Josiah was a youth that reigned over Judah and Jerusalem at the age of eight and did what was pleasing unto God. He walked in the ways of his father David by refusing to join them in this idol worshipping.  By the time he was twelve years old, he started destroying all those altars, carved ...

TAKE A STAND FOR THE LORD

God bless you for taking your time to study. TAKE A STAND FOR THE LORD MONDAY NOVEMBER 7th TEXT: ROMANS 12:1-3 Key verse: Hebrews 12: 1 “Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,” Beloved, we need to take a firm stand and make a concrete decision to serve the Lord. Sometimes, it is not easy when we have decided to stand for the Lord. All hell will break to stop or discourage us from our decisions. But that is nothing compared to the crown of victory awaiting us. Do not listen to what the crowd is saying because they do not have good testimony about Christ. To be outstanding with Jesus we must be prepared to stand out alone from the crowd. 2 Corinthians 4:17-18 “For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which a...

THE BOOK OF LIFE

God bless you for taking your time to study. THE BOOK OF LIFE    SUNDAY NOVEMBER 6th TEXT: REVELATION 20:11-12 Key Verse: Philippians 4:3 And I intreat thee also, true yokefellow, help those women which laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and with other my fellow labourers, whose names are in the book of life.   There is a book of life and there are books of death. These books have names of people from various continents of the world written in them. The books of death have a greater number of names of human beings who have chosen to end their lives in damnation of hell because of pleasures of sin. The book of life is a divine record book where names of various people all over the world who are in the Lord are written with accuracy and precision. The book also contains the record of each believer’s works while on the earth. In the key verse, Apostle Paul mentioned his fellow labourers whose names were in the book of life because they were in the Lord....
