TOPIC: YOUR RIGHTEOUSNESS SHALL BE A DREAD TO THE UNRIGHTEOUS ONES. 

TEXT: 2 CHRONICLES 22:10-11, 1 KINGS 1:9-10, 51-53 
2 CHRONICLES 22:10-11
10. “But when Athaliah the mother of Ahaziah saw that her son was dead, she arose and destroyed all the seed royal of the house of Judah. 
11. But Jehoshabeath, the daughter of the king, took Joash the son of Ahaziah, and stole him from among the king's sons that were slain, and put him and his nurse in a bedchamber. So Jehoshabeath, the daughter of king Jehoram, the wife of Jehoiada the priest, (for she was the sister of Ahaziah,) hid him from Athaliah, so that she slew him not.
1 KINGS 1:9-10, 51-53 
9. And Adonijah slew sheep and oxen and fat cattle by the stone of Zoheleth, which is by En-rogel, and called all his brethren the king's sons, and all the men of Judah the king's servants: 
10. But Nathan the prophet, and Benaiah, and the mighty men, and Solomon his brother, he called not.”
51. And it was told Solomon, saying, Behold, Adonijah feareth king Solomon: for, lo, he hath caught hold on the horns of the altar, saying, Let king Solomon swear unto me to day that he will not slay his servant with the sword. 
52. And Solomon said, If he will shew himself a worthy man, there shall not an hair of him fall to the earth: but if wickedness shall be found in him, he shall die. 
53. So king Solomon sent, and they brought him down from the altar. And he came and bowed himself to king Solomon: and Solomon said unto him, Go to thine house.”

KEY VERSE: JOB 13:11 “Shall not His excellency make you afraid? and His dread fall upon you?” 

God has given HOREMOW great promises and prophecies. The righteous are committed to them and are doing all for God to fulfil His plan through the Movement. However, there are some who ignore all the miracles God has done through Moses of our day. They speak contrary to the prophecy given to us and you agree with them. 

Did you not see God using Moses in Egypt before Pharaoh? What of parting the red sea and the Egyptian army perishing in the sea? Why are you easily overtaken? It is because you are not a true servant of God otherwise you should have known the consequences of going against the plan of God. 

Athaliah killed all the seed royal and became the queen, an action planned by Satan to stop the lineage of David through which Jesus would come. It took the intervention of Jehosheba, the wife of Jehoiada who preserved Joash to continue God’s plan. 

There were righteou men in the cabinet of King David who could not succumb to Adonijah and were not invited by Adonijah in his plan to thwart divine plan through David. Be righteous so that these unrighteous men will fear you and will not come near you to draw you away. 

You must not be deceived by their lies. Some will come to you and say, I have told Pastor, our leader and without verifying, you give into it and it might be lies. Nathan had the privilege to hear and didn’t keep quiet and as he rose up to Bathsheba and it got to David, Solomon was installed. 

God can give you the privilege to hear, don’t keep it and let sinners destroy the plan of God. Never allow fear of man to stop you from a righteous course. Never join the forces of Satan to stop the revelation of God. Adonijah later bowed before Solomon, the matter is finished! Pray that anyone whether witches or wizards, physical or spiritual powers will not rise up against the will of God because they will end up like Adonijah. 

Thought for the day: Don’t hide revealed sin and let sinners destroy God’s plan.
