Evangelism Is Every Believer's Ministry

Sunday 27th July

Text: Mark 16:15, 16
Key verse: Proverbs 11:30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.
Matthew 28:18-20 18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto Me in heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
The Lord commissioned His disciple to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He gave them the task of evangelism. Believers' evangelism must be with purpose, to make converts or disciples where ever this gospel is preached. The Lord's instruction is that those who have believed in Him through the gospel should be baptized in water in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Believers in the early church gave themselves to evangelism and suffered much persecution for their fervency and zeal. The converts were baptized as instructed. We have much to learn from the commitment of the early church.
Evangelism is every believer's ministry and we must arise to our duty to save the perishing world. It is the responsibility of the church to teach and stir their members to evangelize. Personal evangelism, crusade evangelism, literature evangelism and several other kinds of evangelism should be embarked upon with all commitment. Wisdom is essential for soulwinning. To win sinners to Christ in this end time and revive the dead church to righteousness and holiness require evangelism wisdom. Therefore, get the wisdom of soulwinning from God and be a successful soulwinner.
James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
Thought for the day: Therefore, get the wisdom of soulwinning from God and be a successful soulwinner.
Song for the day: Lord, send another Elijah to bring Your fire down
Bible reading for the day: Isaiah 44-46

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
