TEXT: 2 KINGS 4: 8 – 9
KEY VERSE: Luke 1:6 And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.
Some qualities reveal the holy men of God. The scripture says, by their fruits you shall know them there were some qualities the woman of Shunamite woman saw in Elisha that convinced her heart that Elisha was a holy man of God.
Every holy man of God has the following qualities:
• Pure heart: The holy believer has a pure heart which is filled with fervent and unpretending love for God and his fellow men. Matthew 5:8 “Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God” The holy and sanctified believer has a pure heart, a clean heart, a radiant and transparent heart. These are people who will see God,
• Love: The holy believers who are sanctified also manifest Love as evidence  being their allegiance and fellowship with Christ's Love in them, as manifested in John 13:35 “By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples if ye have love one to another.” A holy believer loves the Lord and also loves his neighbours as himself.
• The fruit of the Spirit: In addition to love, all the components of the fruit of the Spirit are complete in the life and ministry of a holy Christian. Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such, there is no law.
• Total Obedience: The holy believer is blameless and undefiled in his life. He keeps the whole commandments of God and he is obedient to all Scriptural instructions of righteousness. Blessed are they that keep his testimonies: The testimonies of scripture are his delight and meditation while his life is also fashioned by it.
• No Iniquity. The holy believer does not commit iniquity. No holy man practices sin neither commits sin nor speaks sin. He does not think of sin or act in sin.
• Walking in all the commandments of God blamelessly: walking in the commandments of God blamelessly includes the payment of tithe, baptism, taking of Holy Communion etc. Wives are to submit to their husbands and husbands to love their wives in return, not love the world. 1 John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

Thought for the day: Be holy for God is holy

Song for the day: Holiness is the ticket to heaven

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. January Saturday 18th TOPIC: HOW TO ATTAIN BIBLE HOLINESS TEXT: Romans 6:20-23 KEY VERSE: Romans 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. Besides the essential knowledge of the holy life of a Christian, it is good to understand the manner and process of becoming holy before God. Holiness of life is a life that has overcome sin through the saving power of Jesus Christ. Romans 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. It is a life that does not commit sin. 1John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for His seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. Getting this experience requires four things: 1. Know that apart from holiness, there is no alternative lifestyle for heaven. Hebrews 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holin...
