HOLINESS REVIVAL MOVEMENT WORLDWIDE (HOREMOW)

DAILY DEVOTIONAL BY  PASTOR PAUL RIKA INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR

DATE: THURSDAY 5TH MAY

TOPIC: BEWARE OF PHILOSOPHY AND DECEPTION OF MEN

TEXT: Colossians. 2:6-8

KEY VERSE: Mark 7:7Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

It is possible for those who have believed in Jesus to be spoiled. Yes, with your commitment and dedication you can be spoiled. The bacterial that spoil a Christian is called philosophy of men.

This can take away the anointing from you. What is philosophy? It is the reasoning of men that formed their belief; coming from the thought and reasoning of the same men.

Isaiah 55:8-9:  For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.”

Knowledge of God is far from human reasoning. The knowledge of God comes by revelation. God will destroy every negative idea of men. True success is based on the word of God, not on ideas of men.

The just shall live by faith. To the world, the way of God looks foolish. The philosophy of this world believes that life cannot be deeper but life is absolute.

Colossians 2:6-10

6 As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:

7 Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.

8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:

By reasoning, men rejected the way of God, for man’s salvation. Be careful, that they don’t set before you natural principles and making you fall from faith.

Take the word by faith and not by reasoning. If you apply reasoning, you will not accept the teaching of holiness because they will be foolishness to you.

Thought for the day: Let no man deceive you

Song for the day: Hallelujah Jesus conquered the word

Bible reading for day: 1 Kings 10-11,
Luke 24:1-35.  #Horemow

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. January Saturday 18th TOPIC: HOW TO ATTAIN BIBLE HOLINESS TEXT: Romans 6:20-23 KEY VERSE: Romans 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. Besides the essential knowledge of the holy life of a Christian, it is good to understand the manner and process of becoming holy before God. Holiness of life is a life that has overcome sin through the saving power of Jesus Christ. Romans 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. It is a life that does not commit sin. 1John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for His seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. Getting this experience requires four things: 1. Know that apart from holiness, there is no alternative lifestyle for heaven. Hebrews 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holin...
