Discipline In Bodily Dressing And Adornment

Friday 14th November

Text: Romans 13: 11-14
Key verse: Romans 13: 12 “The night is far spent, the day is at hand; let us therefore cast of the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.”
Make sure you do not wear any cloth that is not of standard. Discipline yourself. The scriptures have spoken a lot against the use of jewelry: rings, chains, earrings, necklace. Satan has turned to putting jewels and rings on clothes and dresses adorned with precious stones. Have you noticed that these precious stones that are dazzling on clothes were the dressing of the mother harlot in Revelation chapter seventeen? It makes the cloth shine like stars. Are they heavenly stars? No! Are they angelic stars? No! What glory is there, that you carry about to disturb the environment? You have brought precious stones into your cloth just because you want to make it precious or dazzling. Remove those stones. Discipline yourself that no single shining stone will be on your clothes from head-tie downward. No shining stones should be on you. Determine to be natural. Destroy all those shining cloths you have bought before you knew Jesus. They are rough and evil. Destroy them. Discipline yourself to destroy them not minding their cost. Do not keep them in your box, they will cause you to backslide. Discipline yourself to destroy them.
Remove the reproach of Egypt from off your life. Discipline yourself. You might have snapped some pictures when you were a sinner dressed up in your golden and mighty way, adorned like the daughter of Satan and you have hung them round your house but now you are a Christian. Satan does not come to that house anymore. Jesus comes there now. Remove those pictures out of your house. If you say, “Well, I want to keep some to show people how I was yesterday and how the Lord has changed me,” keep them in the private. Anytime the Lord inspires you to do that then you can bring them out. You can keep one or two of such pictures maybe in your privacy since it shall form part of your ministry. otherwise remove those things. Let people see newness in your life.

Thought for the day: Remove the reproach of Egypt from off your life.

Song for the day: I must go with Jesus everywhere, no matter the danger on the way

Bible reading for the day: Romans 8-9

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

The Source Of Faith

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. The Source Of Faith  Tuesday 18th March Text: Romans 1:16-17 Key Verse: So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17 What is the foundation for our faith? The faith of the just man has the following sources, from where it gets its inspiration. The Word Of God: The foundation of the faith of the just, is the word of God.  The word of God is the production room of the faith which the just exercises. The faith of the just has its foundation in what God has said in His word.  Faith seeks for what God has said to stand upon.  Have you seen the promises of God for you, from the word? Have you seen God's message for you, in the scriptures?  Believe it absolutely, and it shall surely come to pass. This will enhance your faith for subsequent needs of your life. “God is not a man, that He should lie; neither the son of man, that He should repent: hath He said, ...
