Scriptural Facts On Revelation Messages

Saturday 12th April

Text: 11 Corinthians 12:1-4.

Key Verse: The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law. Deuteronomy 29:29.
Divine revelation or prophesying must not be despised by believers. Apart from normal preaching and teaching from the scriptures, the Lord also uses this means. He warns both saints and sinners of the danger of sin and the eternal judgment of hell fire. "But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men for edification, and exhortation, and comfort.” Divine revelations are not superior to the written word of God. The scripture is the instrument of ascertaining whether a revelation is from the Holy Spirit or not.
Any revelation that is according to the word and spirit of the scripture, exalts Jesus, promotes righteousness and holiness and does not violate any scriptural landmarks, should be received for edification, exhortation, and comfort. But we must be warned against giving undue respect and adoration to those who received divine revelation. Revelation 19:10. However, any revelation that is not according to the word and Spirit of the scripture, which tampers with scriptural landmarks, is from the archenemy of the Christian faith and must be discarded.
The revelation message, which is the word of God, is above the recipient. The life of the recipient may or may not conform to the revelation message. The recipient is subject to the message of the revelation and must submit to God's word for his or her salvation and eternal life. Apostle Paul also went to the third heaven. When he returned to the earth, he observed all Bible commandments and did all that was required, in order to return finally to heaven. Mature believers and sound teachers of God's word should not ignore these present-day divine revelations, nor be indifferent to them. They have the potential of blessing the body of Christ when properly interpreted and applied.
Thought For The Day: Revelations are not superior to the written word of God.

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
